Higashioka went 0-for-5 with two runs scored in Sunday's 6-4 extra-innings loss to Seattle.

Higashioka never reached base safely but managed to score two runs as the automatic runner in the 10th and 12th innings. June hasn't been kind to Higashioka, who is batting .167 after posting a .194 average during May. He parlayed a good stretch in San Diego last season into a two-year deal with the Rangers during the offseason, but Higashioka has not delivered while splitting the catching duties with Jonah Heim.

Carter went 3-for-4 with a walk, a double, two stolen bases and a run scored in Sunday's 6-4 extra-innings loss to the Mariners.

Carter scored the Rangers' first run after a second-inning double, which also extended a hit streak to seven games. He's gone 10-for-28 (.357) with three steals, one RBI and four runs during his streak. The two thefts give Carter eight stolen bases through 32 games.

Rocchio could return to the majors if Gabriel Arias' ankle injury forces him to miss extended time, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Arias suffered an ankle injury and was removed from Sunday's game against the Cardinals. The injury occurred early enough in the Guardians' game to impact the lineup for Triple-A Columbus, which did not have Rocchio in its starting nine. After he was demoted to the minors with a .165 average and .433 OPS through 35 games with Cleveland, Rocchio is batting .252 with an .837 OPS, seven home runs, 30 RBI, seven steals and 28 runs across 41 games with the Clippers.

Schneemann replaced Gabriel Arias (ankle) at shortstop in Sunday's 7-0 loss to the Cardinals. Schneemann went 0-for-2 with a walk.

Arias was removed from the game in the third inning with what looks like a significant ankle injury. Schneemann is the most logical replacement among the players on the active roster, but the Guardians could reach down to Triple-A Columbus for Brayan Rocchio.

Arias (ankle) will undergo an MRI on Monday, MLB.com reports.

Arias was removed from Sunday's 7-0 loss to the Cardinals in the third inning after attempting to make a sliding stop on a groundball in the hole. He was carted off the field with a splint on his left leg and was later diagnosed with a sprained ankle. The MRI should provide clarity on the extent of the injury, but if Arias is forced to miss time, Daniel Schneemann could step in as the Guardians' primary option at shortstop.

Lowe went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk Sunday against the Orioles.

Lowe accounted for the Rays' only run of Sunday's game with a leadoff home run in the ninth inning. The long ball extended his hitting streak to 16 games, during which he's gone deep five times while tallying 13 RBI and 16 runs scored.

Tauchman went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored Sunday against the Giants.

Tauchman got things going for the White Sox early, doubling to lead off the home half of the first inning before coming around to score. Since returning from a four-game absence caused by a groin injury, Tauchman has gone 7-for-17 with one run scored while serving as the leadoff hitter against right-handers.

Meidroth went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base Sunday against the Giants.

Meidroth has struggled of late, as Sunday marked just his second multi-hit effort in his last 10 starts. He's gone a total of 8-for-38 in that span, though he has also managed to work five walks. Meidroth also tallied just his second stolen base since May 23 -- bringing his total on the season to 10 -- and has also been thrown out twice in that stretch.

Matthews (shoulder) threw a 20-pitch bullpen session at Target Field on Sunday, MLB.com reports.

Matthews has been on the shelf since June 8 due to a moderate subscapularis strain in his right shoulder. He'll likely need to complete at least a couple more bullpen sessions before advancing to facing hitters in live batting practice and then heading out on a rehab assignment. Matthews could be ready to return from the injured list shortly after the All-Star break.

Greene went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Twins.

Greene doubled the Tigers' lead to 2-0 with his fourth-inning blast. It was his second homer in as many days, and he's hit six long balls while adding 19 RBI over his last 15 games. For the season, the outfielder has a .296/.348/.539 slash line, 19 homers, 63 RBI, 47 runs scored, 21 doubles and a stolen base across 83 games.
