Vest struck out one over a perfect inning to earn the save in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Twins.

Vest retired the side on a tidy eight pitches (six strikes) to earn his first save since June 12 versus the Orioles. He had a pinkie finger injury between those saves, which led to a blown save June 15 versus the Reds, but he avoided the injured list and has since turned in three scoreless innings. Vest is up to 13 saves, two holds and three blown saves while posting a 2.37 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 42:10 K:BB across 38 innings. Vest continues to hold an edge for saves over Tommy Kahnle, who worked the eighth inning Sunday.

Skubal (10-2) allowed a hit and a walk while striking out 13 over seven shutout innings to earn the win Sunday over the Twins.

Skubal had one of his best starts of the year -- this was second only to his two-hit shutout versus the Guardians on May 25. He also matched his season-high 13 strikeouts from that outing. Skubal has kept runs off the board in seven of his 17 starts this season, and he went a perfect 5-0 with seven runs allowed over 33.1 innings in June. For the season, he has a 2.15 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 138:14 K:BB across 109 innings, numbers even better than his Cy Young campaign from 2024. The superstar southpaw is lined up for a road start in Cleveland in his next outing.

Paddack (3-7) allowed three runs on six hits and struck out three without walking a batter over 4.2 innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Tigers.

Paddack was decent compared to recent outings, but he still gave up some loud contact, as four of the six hits he allowed went for extra bases. The first two runs came on solo shots by Kerry Carpenter and Riley Greene, and Paddack's start came to an end after Carpenter's RBI triple in the fifth. Paddack has allowed 21 runs (19 earned) over his last 18.2 innings, which simply isn't good enough. His ERA is up to 4.70 with a 1.23 WHIP and 63:24 K:BB over 90 innings across 17 starts. That's already his most innings in any seasons since 2021, so it's possible the right-hander may be struggling with a heavier workload after multiple years in a row impacted by injuries. His next start is projected to come at home versus the Rays.

Ward went 3-for-5 with three doubles, one RBI and one run scored in Sunday's 7-4 extra-innings loss to the Nationals.

Ward logged his first multi-hit effort since June 14 in Baltimore. While he hasn't been racking up hits much, over his last eight games he has one home run, seven doubles and a 7:10 BB:K to remain a consistent presence on the bases. The outfielder is up to a .216/.287/.481 slash line with 20 homers, 20 doubles, 57 RBI, 47 runs scored and one stolen base over 81 contests. Ward and Pete Crow-Armstrong are the only players to have 20 homers and 20 doubles this season though Sunday's action.

Jansen allowed a run on two hits and a walk while striking out one over one inning to take a blown save in Sunday's 7-4 extra-innings loss to Nationals.

Jansen hadn't pitched since June 24, which was his return from a pectoral cramp that shortened his appearance the day before. Despite being fresh, the Nationals were able to scrape together the tying run with a Jacob Young RBI single in the ninth inning. This was Jansen's first blown save of the year -- he had converted his first 15 save chances, though he's occasionally struggled in non-save situations. The veteran closer is at a 4.40 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 26:11 K:BB over 28.2 innings this season. Jansen has logged 25-plus saves in every full-length campaign since 2012, so one blown save is not going to be enough to cost him his role.

Kochanowicz allowed two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two over four-plus innings in a no-decision versus the Nationals on Sunday.

Kochanowicz was pulled at 63 pitches (37 strikes) after running into trouble in the fourth and fifth innings. Interim manager Ray Montgomery has shown no hesitation to pull starters if they begin to fade in the middle innings -- since he took over managerial duties June 20 due to Ron Washington's health-related absence, only three of nine starting pitchers have exceeded 90 pitches. That shortens an already limited runway for Kochanowicz, who pitched into the sixth inning just once in six June starts. He allowed 18 runs over 25.2 innings while adding a 21:11 K:BB this month, so his outings are likely to continue being short unless he turns a corner with his performance. Overall, he has a 5.44 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 61:40 K:BB through 86 innings over 17 starts this season. Kochanowicz's next start is expected to be in Toronto.

High-A Vancouver placed Pinto on its 7-day injured list May 16 due to an unspecified injury.

The 22-year-old second baseman had been raking for Vancouver prior to being shelved with the injury, slashing .284/.376/.608 with seven home runs and three stolen bases in just 85 plate appearances. Listed at 5-foot-6 and 156 pounds, Pinto generates a surprising amount of power, but durability is starting to become a concern for him; he's now spent multiple months on the IL for four consecutive seasons.

Bride was designated for assignment by the Twins on Sunday, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Bride got the start at third base in Sunday night's 3-0 loss to the Tigers and went 0-for-2 with one strikeout before he was pinch-hit for in the eighth inning. In 80 trips to the plate with Minnesota, Bride slashed a miserable .170/.248/.188 with just two doubles, three RBI, four runs scored and a 6:23 BB:K. Royce Lewis (hamstring) is a logical candidate to be activated from the 10-day injured list with Bride removed from the 40-man roster.

Seager went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a sacrifice fly during Sunday's 6-4 extra-innings loss to the Mariners.

All three of Seager's RBI came in extra innings, as he swatted a game-tying two-run home run in the bottom of the 10th inning and plated Kyle Higashioka on a sac fly in the 12th. Seager has homered in three consecutive games and boasts a five-game hit streak. During that five-game stretch, Seager is 6-for-18 (.333) with six runs scored and seven RBI.

Garver went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and two RBI singles during Sunday's 6-4 win over the Rangers in 12 innings.

Garver didn't have a single game with more than two RBI until June 20, when he drove in five. He exceeded the two RBI mark again Sunday, logging an RBI single in the sixth and 10th innings and tagging Cole Winn for a two-run homer in the 12th frame. Garver is 10-for-31 (.323) with three home runs and two doubles during his last eight games
