Aaron Judge CF | NYY
Yankees' Aaron Judge: Scratched Sunday
Judge was scratched from Sunday's lineup against the Pirates.
Given that Juan Soto and Jazz Chisholm are also off, it sounds like the Yankees just opted to rest their star slugger at the last minute. The game was delayed due to inclement weather, so it makes sense to not have Judge out there in poor conditions. Judge went 0-for-5 with five strikeouts Saturday.

Logan O'Hoppe C | LAA
Angels' Logan O'Hoppe: Sitting Sunday
O'Hoppe is not in Sunday's lineup against the Rangers.
Matt Thaiss will start behind the dish in O'Hoppe's place, batting sixth. O'Hoppe ended the season on a high note, batting .478 (11-for-23) with three doubles and a homer over his last six games.

Zachary Neto SS | LAA
Angels' Zach Neto: Still out Sunday
Neto (shoulder) is not in Sunday's lineup against the Rangers.
Manager Ron Washington said Friday that Neto could be back Saturday and Sunday, but the shortstop will end up missing the final series. Neto broke out this year with 23 homers and 30 steals in 155 games while slashing .249/.318/.443.

Byron Buxton CF | MIN
Twins' Byron Buxton: Out again for finale
Buxton is not in Sunday's lineup against the Orioles.
Buxton also sat out Saturday after the Twins' playoff hopes were dashed. He played in more games (105) this season than he has since he played a career-high 140 games in 2017. Buxton has a no-trade clause, so he'll be back to patrol center field in 2025.

Willi Castro SS | MIN
Twins' Willi Castro: Sitting Sunday
Castro is not in Sunday's lineup against the Orioles.
Castro hit .200 with one home run and two steals over 75 at-bats in September. Austin Martin is starting in left field and batting second.

Lawrence Butler RF | OAK
Athletics' Lawrence Butler: Not in Sunday's lineup
Butler is not in Sunday's lineup against the Mariners.
Butler had been operating as an everyday player for Oakland, but he'll get the regular-season finale off with Seth Brown starting in right field and Daz Cameron getting a rare start in left field against a righty (Logan Gilbert). Butler hit .280 with two home runs and six steals in 23 September games, and he's in line to be one of the focal points of the A's offense in 2025.
