Angels' Gustavo Campero: Recalled from Salt Lake
The Angels recalled Campero from Triple-A Salt Lake on Friday.
With Jorge Soler (back) moving to the injured list, the Angels will turn to Campero to replenish their outfield depth. The 27-year-old has gone just 2-for-10 in five MLB games this season, though he's slashing .320/.389/.477 across 145 plate appearances in Triple-A.

The Angels are expected to put Soler (back) on the injured list, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports
Soler had missed back-to-back games due to back soreness and won't be able to avoid a stint on the injured list. The 33-year-old is slashing .207/.280/350 with eight home runs in 264 plate appearances this season. LaMonte Wade and Scott Kingery could receive more playing time while Soler is sidelined.

Twins' Trevor Larnach: Tending to bruised hand
Larnach is dealing with a right hand contusion and won't play in Friday's game against Milwaukee, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.
The Twins previously scratched Larnach from the lineup, but an explanation for his removal wasn't immediately provided until it was revealed that he was dealing with a hand issue. He should be considered day-to-day moving forward.

Orioles' Brandon Young: Cleared to return from 7-day IL
Young (shoulder) was activated from Triple-A Norfolk's 7-day injured list ahead of his start Friday, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Young landed on the IL in early May due to right shoulder discomfort. He was able to progress enough in his recovery to embark on a rehab assignment with High-A Aberdeen in early June, and he's been given the green light to return to Triple-A. Young has a 2-1 record in four starts with Norfolk with a 2.82 ERA and 0.95 WHIP across 22.1 innings.

Twins' Trevor Larnach: Scratched from lineup
Larnach was scratched from the lineup for Friday's game against the Brewers for undisclosed reasons.
It's unclear why Larnach won't end up starting Friday, but he'll exit the lineup after initially being listed as the Twins' DH and cleanup hitter. In the wake of his absence, Ryan Jeffers will DH and bat fifth while Carlos Correa bats cleanup.

Raleigh went 3-for-4 with two home runs, a walk, three RBI, four runs scored and a stolen base in Fridays 9-4 win over the Cubs.
Raleigh went deep in the first and seventh innings, recording his sixth multi-homer game of the season. Through 16 June contests, he's tallied 11 extra-base hits, 19 RBI, 13 runs scored and three steals. The 28-year-old leads the majors in home runs (29), is tied for first in RBI (63) and ranks second in OPS (1.025) across 319 plate appearances in what continues to be an MVP-caliber first half.

Mariners' Mitch Garver: Homers twice in win
Garver went 2-for-4 with two home runs, five RBI and a walk in Friday's 9-4 win over the Cubs.
Garver entered Friday with just one home run on the year but went deep in both the sixth and ninth innings. The 34-year-old is now 6-for-23 with six RBI through six June contests and carries a modest five-game hitting streak. On the season, he's slashing .216/.321/.319 with three homers, 16 RBI, 12 runs scored and three steals across 134 plate appearances while serving in a part-time role at catcher and designated hitter.

Mariners' George Kirby: Allows two homers in no-decision
Kirby did not factor into the decision in Friday's 9-4 win against the Cubs, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk with three strikeouts over five innings.
Kirby was tagged for three runs in the first inning before mostly settling down over his next four frames. He threw 60 of 85 pitches for strikes but gave up two homers, bringing his season total to seven in six outings. The 27-year-old has had mixed results since returning from the injured list May 22, allowing exactly two earned runs in three starts while surrendering a combined 15 earned runs in the other three. He'll carry a 6.16 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 33:8 K:BB across 30.2 innings into a road matchup with the Twins next week.

Rays' Ha-Seong Kim: Restarting rehab assignment
Kim (shoulder/hamstring) will resume his rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham on Friday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Kim started the season on the 60-day injured list due to offseason surgery on his right shoulder. He was cleared to embark on a rehab assignment in late May, but he was pulled after experiencing tightness in his right hamstring. After resuming light baseball activities, Kim has been cleared to play in Friday's game with Durham, when he will serve as the designated hitter.
