Messick (7-5) took the loss Monday, allowing four runs on eight hits and no walks over 6.2 innings against the Rangers. He struck out five.

Messick got through six innings with two runs allowed but lost steam in the seventh frame, surrendering another two runs and ultimately taking the loss. The 25-year-old followed a dazzling first 12 starts of the season with a somewhat disappointing June, going 1-4 with a 4.26 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 32:8 K:BB across 31.2 innings (five starts). Messick will take a 2.85 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 106:29 K:BB across 101 innings (17 starts) into his next outing, tentatively scheduled for Saturday against the White Sox.

Neto went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a double, a walk and two total runs scored in Monday's 6-2 loss to the Mariners.

Neto was coming off 1-for-13 performance over three games versus the Athletics over the weekend. He bounced back with a third-inning homer, his fifth long ball in his last 13 contests. The shortstop is batting .226 with a .779 OPS, 18 homers, 40 RBI, 59 runs scored, 17 doubles, two triples and 11 stolen bases over 83 games this season. Neto has offered upside in just about everything except batting average, which continues to be depressed by his 32.3 percent strikeout rate.

Johnson (1-3) allowed three runs (one earned) on four hits and a hit batsman while striking out three and walking none over five innings to take the loss Monday versus the Mariners.

Johnson wasn't able to build off his dominant win over the Orioles from his last start. The Mariners were able to get to him in the third and fourth innings, and the Angels' offense wasn't able to offer a response. Johnson is now at a 7.40 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 18:9 K:BB over 24.1 innings through seven games (four starts) this season. The right-hander is tentatively projected to make his next start at home versus the Red Sox.

Caratini went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and two walks against Houston in a 5-4 victory Monday.

Caratini went back-to-back with Royce Lewis in the fourth inning to give the Twins a 2-0 lead. After going deep just three times over his first 52 contests of the campaign, Caratini has swatted four home runs across his past 10 games. He's had a standout June, batting .355 with five homers, 13 RBI, 12 runs and a 9:11 BB:K over 19 contests. Ryan Jeffers (hand) could return to action at some point in July, but Caratini may have done enough in Jeffers' absence to retain more than a typical backup's workload.

Naylor went 0-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and two runs scored in Monday's 6-2 win over the Angels.

Naylor was held hitless for the third time in 11 games since he returned from shin and wrist issues that cost him a few contests in the middle of the month. He picked up his second steal in that span Monday, giving the first baseman 15 thefts on 18 attempts this season. He's also batting .254 with a .684 OPS, eight home runs, 34 RBI, 31 runs scored and 11 doubles over 79 contests.

Canzone went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 6-2 win over the Angels.

Canzone has been battling a minor hamstring issue over the last week. He typically serves as the designated hitter anyway, and that's where he slotted in Monday. He has gone 12-for-46 (.261) with five homers and nine RBI over his last 15 contests. For the season, the 28-year-old has batted .273 with an .899 OPS, 13 homers, 34 RBI, 30 runs scored, 13 doubles, one triple and one stolen base across 219 plate appearances. He should continue to see a strong-side platoon role at DH, though Canzone has also been in the lineup against the last two and three of the last four southpaws the Mariners have faced.

Paddack allowed two runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out one over four innings of bulk relief in Monday's win over the Guardians.

After inking a deal with the Rangers earlier in the day, Paddack was thrust into duty as a bulk reliever Monday and turned in a serviceable effort. He tossed three scoreless innings before running into some trouble, allowing two runs in his fourth and final frame. The right-hander has struggled mightily in 2026, entering his Texas debut with an 0-7 record, 6.96 ERA, 1.66 WHIP and 39:19 K:BB across 53 innings (13 appearances) split between Miami and Cincinnati. It remains to be seen what role Paddack will fill moving forward, but the 30-year-old has plenty to prove before re-entering the fantasy radar if he ultimately earns a spot in the starting rotation.

Smith went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs in a loss to the Twins on Monday.

Smith accounted for Houston's only run off Minnesota starter Zebby Matthews with a solo blast to left field in the fifth inning. With the Astros down to their last out in the ninth, Smith struck again, clubbing a solo shot off closer Yoendrys Gomez to bring his team within a run. Smith missed Sunday's game against Detroit due to a sore foot, but he looked none the worse for wear upon his return to the lineup. Of the outfielder's past six hits, four have left the park, bringing him up to 11 homers through 85 contests on the campaign. That's a big improvement over the nine long balls he swatted across 134 regular-season contests during his rookie 2025 season.

Young went 3-for-3 with a pair of home runs and three total RBI in Monday's 6-2 win over the Angels.

Young logged his second multi-hit effort in a row and the first multi-homer game of his career. He's had a lively bat in June, clubbing five of his nine homers on the season this month while batting .294 (30-for-102) over 26 games. For the season, he's hitting .260 with a .713 OPS, 40 RBI, 37 runs scored, 12 doubles, one triple and two stolen bases across 86 contests.

Lambert (6-5) completed 5.2 innings in a loss to Minnesota on Monday, allowing four runs on five hits and three walks while striking out four batters.

The Twins made the most of their hits against Lambert, clubbing three homers to account for all four of their runs against him. The three long balls were the most the veteran righty has given up in an outing this season, though he's now served up at least one home run in each of his past five starts. Lambert had been pitching well in June coming into Monday, post a 2-0 record with a 2.31 ERA and 1.07 WHIP over four starts spanning 23.1 innings. He still has a pretty good 3.51 ERA on the campaign, and he'll try to get back on track his next time out, which is lined up to be a road matchup against the Nationals.
