Caglianone went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 12-6 loss to the Rockies.

Caglianone launched a Ryan Feltner curveball over the right-field wall in the third inning to give the Royals an early 3-0 lead, though the pitching staff ultimately melted down at Coors Field. The 23-year-old has homered in two of the past three games but has otherwise struggled since the All-Star break, slashing .188/.220/.417 over his past 13 contests. On the year, Caglianone has a .251/.308/.455 line with 18 homers, 42 RBI, 48 runs and three stolen bases across 103 games.

Duran started at third base and went 0-for-4 with a run scored in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Astros.

Duran, who had been filling in at shortstop, has moved to third base since Corey Seager was activated off the injured list Friday. Duran is now covering for the injured Josh Jung (calf), who is not yet able to run at full speed. Duran is expected to handle the hot corner until Jung is ready to return.

Langford went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-4 loss to Houston.

Langford erased the Astros' early lead in the third inning when he tucked a homer inside the left field foul pole a mere 348 feet from home plate. It was his fourth home run in the last 13 games and 13th of the season.

Diaz went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Astros.

Diaz drove in a game-tying run in the fourth inning on a sacrifice bunt and then homered in the sixth to bring Texas within one run. The RBI were his first in 18 contests. He's getting most of the starts at catcher with Kyle Higashioka (forearm) on the injured list.

Hoskins went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run and two RBI in Saturday's 12-8 loss to Arizona.

Hoskins gave the Guardians an early lead by taking Kohl Drake deep in the first inning. That snapped a 1-for-15 stretch for the first baseman, who was later replaced by Kyle Manzardo when a right-handed reliever entered the game. The Hoskins/Manzardo combination at first base ranks last in the majors with a combined .203 batting average. Cleveland, which is in the thick of the postseason chase, will be looking to upgrade its offense heading into the trade deadline, and first base is an obvious place to start.

Kwan batted leadoff and went 3-for-5 with two RBI in Saturday's 12-8 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Following a one-game drop to ninth in the batting order Friday, Kwan was back atop it Saturday. Cleveland faced left-handed starters in both games, which indicates manager Steven Vogt is seeking any combination that could spark an offense ranking last in OPS (.680) and 29th in runs (441). Regardless of the manager's motivation, Vogt should get Kwan as many plate appearances as possible in every game. The outfielder has multiple hits in his last three contests (7-for-12) and is batting .434 since the All-Star break.

White went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Saturday's 8-6 loss to the Tigers.

White had gone 0-for-13 with five strikeouts over his previous three games. This was his fifth multi-hit effort so far, including three games of at least three hits, since he made his big-league debut July 17. Overall, he's batting .304 with a .667 OPS, but he has no home runs, two doubles, no RBI and seven runs scored across his first 14 contests in the majors.

Bolte went 3-for-4 with a three-run home run, a double, a walk and two total runs scored in Saturday's 8-6 loss to the Tigers.

Bolte logged just six hits over his previous 18 games, a span in which he had just one extra-base hit. He ended the power drought with an eighth-inning blast Saturday, though the Athletics' late comeback effort fell short. Bolte is now batting .257 with a .690 OPS, four homers, 21 RBI, 22 runs scored, eight doubles and 12 stolen bases over 68 contests. He showed promise earlier in the season, so he may be able to turn things around after a disappointing July.

Perkins (2-7) allowed six runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out nine over 5.1 innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Tigers.

Perkins gave up five of those runs on homers, making this the third time in five outings he's yielded multiple long balls. In that span, he's been on the hook for 21 runs over 22.2 innings, though he also has a 27:11 K:BB in that span. On the year, Perkins is sporting an ugly 6.72 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 89:28 K:BB over 73.2 innings across 27 games (nine starts), including a 7.38 ERA over 42.2 innings as a starter. Despite the ongoing struggles, he's penciled in to make his next start in Boston.

Clark went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 8-6 win over the Athletics.

The rookie has taken advantage of a favorable hitting environment in Sacramento in his first two MLB games, going 5-for-9 with a homer, three RBI and two doubles. Clark hit 11 homers in 90 contests for Triple-A Toledo before he received his first major-league call-up Friday. The outfielder should get the chance to see a near-everyday role for the remainder of the season.
