Will Vest RP | DET
Tigers' Will Vest: Activated from injured list
The Tigers activated Vest (forearm) from the 15-day IL on Sunday, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.
Vest will return after missing three weeks due to a forearm injury. He should immediately slot into a high-leverage role and will look to rebound from a rough start to the season, as he posted a 6.17 ERA and 1.46 WHIP over 13 appearances before being sidelined. Ty Madden is headed to the IL due to a bruised forearm, clearing a spot on the 26-man roster for Vest.

Jac Caglianone RF | KC
Royals' Jac Caglianone: Taking seat Sunday
Caglianone isn't in the Royals' starting lineup Sunday versus St. Louis.
Caglianone will begin the game on the bench for the third time in the past five contests despite right-hander Andre Pallante being on the mound for the Cardinals. Caglianone has been fairly productive in May, batting .239 with three homers over 46 at-bats. Lane Thomas is starting in right field for the Royals on Sunday.

Andrew Walters RP | CLE
Guardians' Andrew Walters: Activated from IL, sent to minors
The Guardians activated Walters (lat) from the 15-day injured list Sunday and optioned him to Triple-A Columbus, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.
Walters was placed on the IL in late March and missed nearly two months of action. Prior to getting hurt, he appeared in two games with Cleveland, allowing two earned runs on two hits while posting a 2:0 K:BB over 1.1 innings. He'll now look to ramp back up with Columbus.

Kazuma Okamoto 3B | TOR
Blue Jays' Kazuma Okamoto: Getting breather Sunday
Okamoto is out of Toronto's starting lineup versus the Tigers on Sunday.
It's a rare rest day for Okamoto, who had started 44 of the Blue Jays' 45 games this season coming into Sunday. After beginning May with a 10-game hitting streak that included five homers, he's tailed off a bit of late, going 1-for-14 over his past four contests. Ernie Clement is starting at third base in Okamoto's stead Sunday.

George Springer DH | TOR
Blue Jays' George Springer: Getting rest Sunday
Springer is not starting Sunday's matchup versus Detroit.
Springer is getting a breather after starting the previous five games. The veteran slugger has gone hitless over his past three contests and is batting just .143 through 11 contests in May. Vladimir Guerrero is getting a day off his feet as Toronto's DH on Sunday.

Cameron Foster P | BAL
Orioles' Cameron Foster: Back with big-league club
The Orioles recalled Foster from Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday.
Foster has had two previous stints with Baltimore this season, appearing in five total games and allowing five earned runs on 12 hits with a 9:6 K:BB over 7.2 innings. He's back up with the Orioles to take the bullpen spot of Josh Walker, who was optioned to Norfolk in a corresponding move.

Joshua Walker RP | BAL
Orioles' Josh Walker: Returns to minors
Baltimore optioned Walker to Triple-A Norfolk following Saturday's game against Washington.
Walker was called up from Norfolk last Monday and made three appearances for the Orioles, allowing two runs on three hits with a 5:2 K:BB over four innings. He threw 30 pitches Saturday, so Baltimore opted to send him back to the minors in favor of a fresh arm. Righty reliever Cameron Foster was recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding move.

Adam Macko RP | TOR
Blue Jays' Adam Macko: Summoned to majors
Toronto recalled Macko from Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday.
The Blue Jays needed to fill a bullpen spot with Tommy Nance (forearm) landing on the 15-day IL in a corresponding move. If Macko sees game action at any point during his call-up, he'll be making his MLB debut. The lefty has appeared in 13 games with Buffalo this season, posting a 4.50 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 19:8 K:BB over 18 innings.

Tommy Nance RP | MIN
Blue Jays' Tommy Nance: Lands on IL
The Blue Jays placed Nance on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to right forearm discomfort.
Nance tossed a clean inning with one strikeout Saturday versus Detroit, but he appears to have come away from that outing with a sore forearm. The right-hander has been working primarily in low-leverage situations for Toronto, notching one hold while posting a 3.86 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 25:8 K:BB over 21 innings spanning 20 appearances. Lefty reliever Adam Macko was called up from Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday to take Nance's spot in the big-league bullpen.
