Smith collected the save in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Reds, allowing one walk while striking out two in a scoreless and hitless ninth inning.

The Guardians scored five of their seven runs from the sixth to eighth innings, which prompted Cleveland to turn to Smith to close things out in the ninth. He struck out the first two batters he faced and was able to work around a walk to secure his 14th save of the season, which is tied with Mason Miller for most in the majors. Smith has successfully converted each of his last 11 save opportunities and sits at a 2.91 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 31:5 K:BB across 21.2 innings this season.

Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a walk, two steals and a run scored during the Guardians' 7-4 win over the Reds on Saturday.

Ramirez stole both second and third base in the eighth inning, and he came home to score in the same frame on an error by Reds reliever Connor Phillips to extend the Guardians' lead to three runs. It was the fourth time this season that Ramirez logged two steals in a game, with two of those coming in his last three outings. The veteran slugger now leads the majors with 20 steals and has a .737 OPS with six home runs, 17 RBI and 27 runs scored in 207 plate appearances this season.

Cole (elbow) allowed one run on six hits and one walk while striking out six across 5.1 innings in his rehab start with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Cole logged 56 strikes on 86 pitches (65.1 percent strike rate) and saw his fastball crack 99 mph during Saturday's rehab outing. It was an encouraging sign for the veteran right-hander, who continues to ramp up his activity and is in the final stages of his recovery from Tommy John surgery with an internal brace that he underwent in March of 2025. Cole is expected to make one more rehab start before returning to the Yankees' rotation.

Bradley (pectoral) will embark on a rehab assignment with Triple-A St. Paul on Sunday, Audra Martin of FanDuel Sports Network North reports.

Bradley landed on the 15-day IL on May 9 due to right pectoral inflammation. He tossed a 20-pitch bullpen session Friday and has been given the green light to start his rehab assignment in Triple-A. He's eligible to return from the IL in late May, so he'll likely have at least two rehab outings in St. Paul before returning to the majors.

Dana was pulled in the third inning his latest start with Triple-A Salt Lake on Thursday due to fatigue, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Per the Angels, Dana is still dealing with fatigue stemming from his diagnosis of mononucleosis in January, and he finished Thursday's start having allowed one run on two hits and one walk while striking out two across 2.1 innings. Given his latest setback, Dana could be removed from a turn in Salt Lake's rotation to give himself extra time to recover. He has a 1-2 record across five starts in Triple-A with a 6.38 ERA and 1.16 WHIP over 18.1 innings.

D'Arnaud (foot) told reporters Saturday that he does not have a timetable for his return from the 10-day injured list, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

D'Arnaud landed on the 10-day injured list May 8 due to right foot plantar fasciitis. He's kept the weight off his foot by using a scooter and relayed that he'll have a better sense of his rehab timeline once he's able to put weight on his foot. Sebastian Rivero will continue to operate as the Angels' backup catcher behind Logan O'Hoppe for as long as d'Arnaud is sidelined.

Cameron (2-3) took the loss Saturday, giving up three runs on five hits over six innings as the Royals fell 4-2 to the Cardinals. He struck out four without walking a batter.

The southpaw needed 82 pitches (55 strikes) to record his second quality start of the season, but a lack of run support landed Cameron in the loss column. After a promising beginning to the campaign, the 26-year-old has allowed at least three runs in six straight starts, stumbling to a 6.68 ERA, 1.65 WHIP and 36:14 K:BB over 31 innings during that span. However, Saturday's outing was the first time since April 7 that he didn't issue multiple walks, and he's kept the ball in the yard in four straight trips to the mound. Cameron will look to build on this performance in his next start, which is scheduled to come at home next weekend against the Mariners.

Mize didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 2-1 extra-inning loss to the Blue Jays, scattering two hits over six scoreless innings. He struck out four without walking a batter.

Making his first start since April 28 after recovering from an adductor strain, Mize was fantastic over 71 pitches (51 strikes), giving up just a first-inning single to Yohendrick Pinango and a fifth-inning double to Daulton Varsho before being lifted with the Tigers up 1-0. The bullpen couldn't lock up what would have been Mize's third win of the year, but it was still an encouraging return to the mound. He'll take a 2.43 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 39:11 K:BB through 37 innings into his next outing, which is set to come at home next week against the Guardians.

O'Hoppe (wrist) will start at catcher and bat eighth against the Dodgers on Saturday, Jack Janes of TheSportingTribune.com reports.

O'Hoppe was taken out of Friday's game prematurely due to irritation in his left wrist -- the same wrist that fractured in late April and caused him to spend three weeks on the IL. However, he seems to be feeling better ahead of Saturday's contest and will return to the lineup without missing a start. The 26-year-old backstop went 0-for-2 before his removal Friday and currently owns a .566 OPS through 95 plate appearances on the year.

Pinango went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 2-1 extra-inning win over the Tigers.

The rookie outfielder took Kyle Finnegan deep in the seventh inning to get the Blue Jays on the board and give Pinango his first career homer in the majors. He's seeing regular playing time against right-handed pitching due to Addison Barger (elbow) being back on the IL, and through his first 15 games with Toronto, Pinango is slashing .364/.404/.477 with two doubles, three runs and seven RBI.
