Erick Fedde RP | CHW
White Sox's Erick Fedde: Goes four frames Monday
Fedde completed four innings in a no-decision against Texas on Monday, allowing two runs on four hits and no walks while striking out six batters.
Though he didn't go very deep, Fedde was decently effective, racking up six punchouts and retiring the final eight batters he faced. The veteran right-hander has logged five or fewer frames in nine of his past 10 outings, but that approach seems to be working for him -- he's posted a 2.68 ERA while going 5-1 with a 35:15 K:BB across 43.2 innings during that span. Fedde has worked as both a traditional starter and a bulk reliever throughout the campaign, and though he doesn't have the most overpowering stuff, recent results suggest Chicago is getting the most out of the hurler by astutely managing how he is used.

Tigers' Riley Greene: Clubs 15th homer
Greene went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run and an additional run scored in Monday's extra-inning win over the Cubs.

After going deep Sunday against the Angels, the left fielder has now homered in back-to-back games for the fourth time this season. The 25-year-old continues to get better and better, slashing .288/.379/.475 with 15 homers, 50 RBI, 52 runs and two stolen bases across 99 contests.

Tigers' Dillon Dingler: Belts two homers in win
Dingler went 4-for-5 with two homers, three total RBI and three total runs scored in Monday's 8-6 extra-inning win over the Cubs.
Dingler was a driving force in the win, launching solo homers in the first and eighth innings before delivering an RBI single in the 10th frame to give the Tigers a 6-5 lead. It has been a breakout 2026 campaign for the 27-year-old, though Monday's long balls were his first since June 25. Overall, the catcher is slashing .268/.332/.524 with 21 homers, 63 RBI and 52 runs scored across 91 contests.

Tyler Holton RP | DET
Tigers' Tyler Holton: Secures first save
Holton picked up the save in Monday's 8-6 extra-inning win over the Cubs. He allowed one unearned run on two hits and no walks with no strikeouts over one inning.
After closer Kenley Jansen worked a scoreless ninth inning to force an extra inning, Holton was called upon to finish things off in the 10th frame. Entering with a three-run lead, the southpaw allowed the automatic runner to score and brought the winning run to the plate with two outs, but he induced a weak groundout from Carson Kelly to secure his first save of the season. Holton has been a reliable middle reliever in 2026, posting a 3.05 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 37:10 K:BB with nine holds across 44.1 innings.

Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH
Athletics' Jeff McNeil: Drives in two off bench
McNeil went 1-for-1 with two RBI and a stolen base in Monday's 5-2 win over the Diamondbacks.
McNeil hit for Alika Williams in the seventh inning and delivered a two-run single to restore the Athletics' lead. The veteran utility man has had to settle for a part-time role for much of the season. He's hitting .269 (7-for-26) over 11 contests in July. Overall, McNeil is batting .236 with a .610 OPS, three home runs, 30 RBI, 26 runs scored, 11 doubles and two steals over 88 contests.

Tommy White 1B | ATH
Athletics' Tommy White: Four knocks in Monday's win
White went 4-for-5 with a run scored in Monday's 5-2 win over the Diamondbacks.
This was White's first multi-hit effort, coming in his third career game. The infield prospect is getting a chance to play steadily while Nick Kurtz (thumb) and Zack Gelof (knee) are out. White batted .303 with an .834 OPS over 55 games for Triple-A Las Vegas prior to his call-up coming out of the All-Star break. The Athletics' infield is a bit crowded when everyone's healthy, so it'll be up to White to force his way into the lineup on a consistent basis.

Jacob Wilson SS | ATH
Athletics' Jacob Wilson: Belts solo shot
Wilson went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's 5-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

Hogan Harris RP | ATH
Athletics' Hogan Harris: Converts seventh save
Harris allowed a hit and a walk while striking out three in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Monday's 5-2 win over the Diamondbacks.
Harris hadn't converted a save since June 12, and he had blown his two most recent chances. Over his last eight outings, he's gotten back on track, giving up one run on five hits and four walks while adding 17 strikeouts. He has seven saves in 11 chances as well as 10 holds as he continues to fill a high-leverage role in the Athletics' late-inning committee. Harris has added a 3.30 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 60:28 K:BB through 43.2 innings, adding some tantalizing strikeout upside despite the obvious risks involved with his 5.8 BB/9 and a hitter-friendly home park.

Jeffrey Springs SP | ATH
Athletics' Jeffrey Springs: Settles down after break
Springs allowed two runs on six hits and a walk while striking out two over five-plus innings in a no-decision versus the Diamondbacks on Monday.
Springs last held an opponent to two runs or less in his May 17 start versus the Giants. He cruised for five frames but was tagged for a game-tying two-run home run by Ketel Marte in the sixth. Springs has a 5.96 ERA with a 1.42 WHIP and 86:38 K:BB through 102.2 innings over 20 starts this season. The veteran southpaw is lined up to make his next start in Minnesota.

Jack Flaherty SP | DET
Tigers' Jack Flaherty: Lasts four frames Monday
Flaherty did not factor into the decision of Monday's extra-inning win, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks over four innings against the Cubs. He struck out four.
The right-hander was hurt by the long ball, surrendering back-to-back homers to Seiya Suzuki and Michael Busch in the third inning. Flaherty was pulled before facing the top of the Cubs' lineup for a third time, departing after throwing 82 pitches (47 strikes). The outing snapped a strong three-start stretch before the All-Star break in which the 30-year-old posted a 1.08 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 20:6 K:BB across 16.2 innings. Flaherty will take a 3-8 record with a 4.59 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 102:42 K:BB through 86.1 innings (19 starts) into his next outing, tentatively scheduled for this weekend against the Royals.
