Triple-A Tacoma placed Davis on its 7-day injured list June 2 due to a left hamstring strain, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.

Injuries have been a constant stumbling block for Davis throughout his minor-league career, but the 26-year-old outfielder was able to earn a spot on Seattle's 40-man roster on May 18 after a hot start to the season at Tacoma. Davis went down with the hamstring strain just over two weeks later, but assuming the injury doesn't prove to be a long-term setback, he'll have a shot at making his big-league debut later on this season. He's thus far put together a .265/.376/.512 slash line with nine home runs and one stolen base over 205 plate appearances while striking out at a manageable 22.4 percent clip.

Rosario went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in a loss to Detroit on Monday.

With Ryan McMahon getting the day off, Rosario started at third base and batted leadoff. He produced the bulk of New York's runs with a two-run blast in the seventh inning. Rosario has started at the hot corner three of the past four times the Yankees have faced a southpaw starter, so he seems to be in the short side of a platoon with McMahon at the moment.

Hancock will be used out of the bullpen in Saturday's game in Cleveland as part of the latter half of a piggyback arrangement with starter Logan Gilbert, Cameron Van Til of 710 AM Seattle Sports reports.

Manager Dan Wilson announced last week that the Mariners would maintain a five-man rotation through the All-Star break but keep all six of their starters involved by using two in a piggyback arrangement every sixth game. After Bryce Miller and Luis Castillo worked in tandem last Friday versus Boston, Gilbert and Hancock will be paired together this weekend. Assuming their usage mimics that of Miller and Castillo from last week, Gilbert will likely cover around five innings and 70-to-80 pitches, while Hancock steps in to handle the final four frames. The setup will likely lessen Hancock's fantasy appeal this week, though managers may have already been leaning toward keeping him on their benches anyway. After submitting a 2.74 ERA and 0.95 WHIP through his first 13 starts, Hancock turned in his worst outings of the season in his last two starts, giving up a combined 11 earned runs on 13 hits and two walks in 9.1 innings while taking losses against the Nationals and Red Sox.

Gilbert said Tuesday that he'll make his next start Saturday in Cleveland and will be piggybacked by Emerson Hancock in the game, Cameron Van Til of 710 AM Seattle Sports reports.

Though he delivered a stellar 2.65 ERA, 0.71 WHIP and 21:1 K:BB in 17 innings over his three starts with Double-A Rocket City prior to his call-up, Johnson has yet to find success in his limited time in the big leagues over the last two seasons. Across 28 career innings in the majors spanning 19 appearances (two starts), Johnson owns a 9.96 ERA, 2.14 WHIP and 9.0 percent walk rate.

Springer went 2-for-4 with a walk and a run scored in Monday's win over the Astros.

Facing the team he won a World Series with in 2017, Springer delivered another strong performance from the leadoff spot, recording his fifth multi-hit effort in the last seven games. Over 16 games in June, the 36-year-old sports a .271/.389/.475 slash line with three homers, three steals, seven RBI and nine runs as he puts a quiet start to the campaign behind him.

The Rangers announced Quantrill as their starting pitcher for Tuesday's game against the Marlins in Miami.

For at least one turn, the Rangers will turn to Quantrill as a replacement in the rotation for Jack Leiter (ankle), who was moved to the injured list Sunday. Though he's worked exclusively out of the bullpen for Texas since receiving a promotion April 15, Quantrill started three times for Triple-A Round Rock prior to his call-up and has made 149 starts over parts eight seasons in the big leagues. Quantrill has maxed out at 3.1 innings and 70 pitches across his 15 relief appearances over the past two months, so despite his wealth of starting experience, he's still likely to handle a limited workload Tuesday before turning the game over to the bullpen.

Rogers gave up two hits and a walk in a scoreless eighth inning Monday to record his 17th hold of the season in a win over the Astros.

The submarining righty allowed a pair of leadoff singles with the Blue Jays clinging to a 3-2 lead, but Rogers neutralized the threat by getting Christian Walker to ground into a double play. The 17 holds ties Rogers for the American League lead with the Guardians' Erik Sabrowski, and his 1.72 ERA through 36.2 innings would be the best mark of his career over a full season, topped only by the 1.02 ERA he produced over 17.2 frames as a rookie with the Giants in 2019.

High-A Cedar Rapids reinstated Bohorquez (forearm) from its 7-day injured list Monday.

The 21-year-old righty posted an 11.25 ERA and 2.50 WHIP in eight innings across three starts for Cedar Rapids to begin the season before landing on the shelf April 20 due to a right forearm strain. Bohorquez was activated after making a pair of one-inning rehab appearances in the rookie-level Florida Complex League, so he could be limited from a workload perspective as he slots back into the Cedar Rapids rotation.

Reilly (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with the Orioles' Florida Complex League affiliate Tuesday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Reilly is ready to pitch in games following a long rehab from last year's right elbow UCL reconstruction. The right-hander was pitching at Double-A Chesapeake last year before getting hurt, and he will likely return there once his rehab assignment is over.
