Justin Bruihl RP | STL
Blue Jays' Justin Bruihl: Back in bigs
The Blue Jays recalled Bruihl from Triple-A Buffalo on Friday, Mitch Bannon of The Athletic reports.
Bruihl will join the active roster for the final weekend of the regular season, replacing Paxton Schultz in the bullpen. The 28-year-old Bruihl has a 5.68 ERA in 12.2 innings with the Blue Jays this season. He has been with Buffalo since Aug. 30.

Kyle Harrison SP | MIL
Red Sox's Kyle Harrison: In line for another start
Harrison is slated to start Friday's game against the Tigers in Boston.
Harrison stepped in as Boston's fifth starter last weekend at Tampa Bay and aced the test, striking out five while allowing one earned run on four hits and two walks across six innings in a no-decision. The southpaw will be rewarded with another turn through the rotation Friday, and another strong showing could help his case for earning a spot on Boston's postseason roster, should the Red Sox clinch a playoff spot.

Jonathan Aranda 1B | TB
Rays' Jonathan Aranda: Reinstated from IL
The Rays activated Aranda (wrist) from the 10-day injured list Friday.
Aranda has been on the shelf since late July due to a fractured left wrist, but has rejoined the active roster ahead of the Rays' final series of the regular season. He has been playing in backfield games at the Rays' spring training complex in Florida, and could see some big-league action this weekend. Everson Pereira (back) was placed on the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. Aranda's return could mean fewer opportunities for Bob Seymour.
