The Rays activated Legumina on Sunday, Ryan Bass of Rays.tv reports.

Tampa Bay acquired Legumina from Seattle on Friday and will now give the right-hander a spot in the bullpen. Legumina posted a 4.63 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 9:3 K:BB over 11.2 innings spanning eight appearances for the Mariners prior to the trade. The Rays optioned reliever Trevor Martin to Triple-A Durham in a corresponding move.

Baez isn't in the starting lineup Sunday versus Cincinnati.

Baez started the Tigers' previous five games, making appearances at shortstop and second base and in center field. However, he'll begin Sunday on the bench after going 3-for-17 with one homer during that five-game stretch.

Miller (oblique) struck out six and gave up one hit and one walk over three scoreless innings Friday in a rehab start with High-A Everett.

After recording just five outs on 33 pitches in his first rehab appearance with Triple-A Tacoma on April 18, Miller moved down a couple levels for his second minor-league start and delivered a much more efficient performance. During Friday's outing, he spotted 35 of his 47 pitches for strikes and induced eight swings and misses while sporting a fastball that sat between 96 and 98 miles per hour. Per MLB.com, Miller is tentatively trending toward a return from the 15-day injured list May 17, which suggests he'll need three more rehab starts prior to being activated. The right-hander has been on the shelf all season while recovering from a left oblique strain.

Jung went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Athletics.

Jung provided the margin of victory in the sixth inning with a two-run homer, his fourth HR of the season. It continued a stretch in which the third baseman has made an impact; Jung's batting .400 (14-for-35) with 10 extra-base hits, 11 RBI, a stolen base and seven runs scored across his last nine contests.

Baumler (intercostal) allowed one run on two hits over one inning in a rehab appearance at Triple-A Round Rock last Wednesday.

Baumler's fastball touched 97 mph during the outing, per MLB.com, which is encouraging. The Rangers want the right-hander to throw on back-to-back days before he rejoins the club.

Bradford (elbow) experienced a setback in his throwing program and will be shut down for at least a few days, MLB.com reports.

The Rangers are hoping Bradford can throw plyo balls this week. The left-hander threw 27 pitches in an appearance at Triple-A Round Rock on April 2 but hasn't pitched since as he makes his way back from June 2025 elbow surgery.

Martinez hit atop the order and went 1-for-4 in Saturday's 5-3 loss to Toronto.

Martinez was originally slated to bat fifth and play left field, but he was moved to center field and batted leadoff when Steven Kwan (neck) was scratched from the lineup. Martinez's stock has risen dramatically early in 2026, as he's slashing .282/.325/.526 with five home runs, 14 RBI, five steals and 12 runs over 25 games.

Wells went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and two walks against Houston in Saturday's 8-3 victory.

Wells swatted a solo homer in the seventh inning to break a 2-2 tie and added a run-scoring single in the ninth. This was arguably the catcher's best offensive game this season -- it was the first time he's reached base four times through 22 contests, and the long ball was his first since Opening Day. It's been a rough start to the campaign for Wells, as he's carrying a .635 OPS with two homers and four RBI across 80 plate appearances. However, Wells has propped up his contributions by posting a 15:14 BB:K, leading him to an acceptable .338 OBP.

Grisham went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and two walks in an 8-3 win against the Astros on Saturday.

Grisham was a catalyst from the leadoff spot, reaching base three times. He put the Yankees on the board with a solo shot in the third inning for his fourth homer of the campaign, all of which have come over his past 11 games. Grisham is batting a meager .169 on the season, but he has a .330 OBP thanks largely to a 19.8 percent walk rate.

Brito started at second base and went 1-for-3 with a walk, a double and a run scored in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Blue Jays.

Brito doubled and scored in the third inning and walked as part of a ninth-inning rally that fell short. In between, he misplayed a grounder that led to Toronto scoring three runs in the sixth inning, although the play was not ruled an error. Brito has been charged with three errors and has minus-1 Outs Above Average since being called up to the majors April 7, but he appears to have some runway with Gabriel Arias (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list and is working on his defense with an infield coach, per Tim Stebbins of MLB.com. Daniel Schneemann and Angel Martinez are also options to handle the keystone, but manager Stephen Vogt values Schneemann's versatility and likes Martinez more in the outfield.
