The Dodgers recalled Hurt from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

He'll fill the roster spot vacated by Ben Casparius (shoulder). Hurt has made six appearances out of the OKC bullpen this season, yielding three runs with an 8:5 K:BB over 4.2 frames. He will be used in middle relief.

The Dodgers placed Casparius on the 15-day injured list Monday with right shoulder inflammation, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Casparius allowed two runs on two hits and two walks Sunday against the Rangers, which was the third straight appearance he had been scored upon. The righty will be eligible to return near the end of April, but it's uncertain at this point whether he'll be ready on that date. Kyle Hurt is taking Casparius' spot on the roster and in the bullpen.

Kim is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Mets.

Kim had started each of the previous three games and five of the last six tilts at shortstop, but with the Mets sending southpaw David Peterson to the bump, the left-handed-hitting Kim will grab a seat. Miguel Rojas is covering shortstop and Santiago Espinal will be at second base for the Dodgers.

Miller (back) has yet to resume swinging a bat but has begun rotational exercises, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

A previous news item indicated that Miller had started to swing a bat, but the Phillies clarified that report in stating that it hasn't happened just yet. The top prospect is still rehabbing a back injury that dates back to last year, and it's unclear when he might be ready to suit up for Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Benge is not in the lineup for Monday's tilt against the Dodgers.

The left-handed-hitting Benge made his first start against a lefty over the weekend, but he'll take a seat in Monday's series opener as the Dodgers send southpaw Justin Wrobleski to the bump. Newcomer Tommy Pham is drawing the start in left field for the Mets.

Cubs manager Craig Counsell said Monday that Boyd (biceps) threw a bullpen session Sunday and is on track to rejoin the rotation early next week against the Phillies, Kyle Williams of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Boyd will make one rehab start later this week with Triple-A Iowa before being re-inserted into the Cubs' rotation. The veteran left-hander made two starts for the Cubs before getting hurt, allowing eight runs (seven earned) over 9.1 innings but with 17 strikeouts and three walks.

The Mets optioned Mauricio to Triple-A Syracuse on Monday.

He's making room on the roster for the arrival of Tommy Pham. Mauricio was with the big club for just under a week and picked up one hit in four plate appearances.

The Mets selected Pham's contract from Single-A St. Lucie on Monday.

Signed to a minor-league contract in late March, Pham knocked some rust off in the minors with five games at St. Lucie, going 2-for-12 with a 3:3 K:BB. The Mets figure to use the 38-year-old outfielder primarily against left-handed pitching.

Pirates general manager Ben Cherington said that Jones (elbow) made use of all of his pitches during his most recent live batting practice session April 6, MLB.com reports.

Jones has been conducting his rehab from UCL surgery at the Pirates' facility in Florida, but he has returned to Pittsburgh this week and is scheduled to throw a side session in front of the coaching and medical staffs Tuesday, per Chris Halicke of DKPittsburghSports.com. The Pirates haven't revealed a timeline for when Jones might be cleared for a minor-league rehab assignment, but he could be ready to take that step soon since he's been able to face hitters in live BP for nearly two months. Jones won't be eligible for activation from the 60-day injured list until late May and will likely need close to the entire 30-day window to build up his pitch count during his rehab assignment.

Saggese is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Guardians.

Nathan Church will replace Saggese in the starting nine after the 24-year-old had been included in the lineup in nine of the previous 10 contests while seeing time at three different positions. Saggese owns a .614 OPS on the season, but he slashed .350/.381/.450 over his last six games.
