Freeland (shoulder) threw 41 pitches in a simulated game Wednesday, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Freeland utilized his entire arsenal and told reporters after the session that he had no issues with his shoulder. The 32-year-old southpaw is eligible to be activated off the 15-day injured list April 28, and it looks like he'll be ready to return to major-league action at that time, barring any setbacks.

Graterol's velocity during recent bullpen sessions has reached the high-90s as he rehabs from right shoulder surgery, per MLB.com.

Graterol isn't yet ready for a rehab assignment, but he seems to be inching closer to a return to game action. The righty reliever hasn't pitched at all since 2025, so he'll presumably need a lengthy rehab assignment before he's ready to be activated off the injured list. Graterol likely won't be a factor in the big-league bullpen until at least late May.

Diaz shared on his personal Instagram account Wednesday that he underwent surgery on his throwing elbow.

Diaz's surgery was a procedure to remove loose bodies from his right elbow. The star closer is projected to be sidelined through the All-Star break, at minimum. Tanner Scott, Alex Vesia and Blake Treinen are among the candidates to pick up save chances for Los Angeles for however long Diaz remains out of action.

Freeland is not in the Dodgers' starting lineup against the Giants on Wednesday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Freeland will get a rest day after going 0-for-3 with a walk and three strikeouts in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to San Francisco. Miguel Rojas will start at second base Wednesday and bat ninth.

Stewart (shoulder) had his rehab assignment transferred from Single-A Ontario to Triple-A Oklahoma City, per MLB.com.

Stewart appeared in two games for Ontario, allowing one hit while striking out three batters over 1.2 scoreless innings. He then debuted for OKC on Tuesday, fanning two batters across one perfect frame. It's not clear how many more rehab outings Stewart will need before being activated, but he appears to be progressing well and seems likely to be ready to join the big-league bullpen in the near future.

Horwitz (neck) is in Pittsburgh's starting lineup against Texas on Wednesday.

Horwitz was scratched from Tuesday's lineup due to neck discomfort, but he has been cleared to return for Wednesday's bout. The 28-year-old first baseman is slashing .255/.382/.400 with two home runs, nine runs and five RBI over 68 plate appearances this season.

Thomas is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the White Sox.

The White Sox are sending left-hander Anthony Kay to the bump, so the left-handed hitting Thomas will hit the bench after starting in Arizona's previous three games. Jorge Barrosa will be included in the lineup in Thomas' place Wednesday, batting ninth while occupying center field.

Del Castillo is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the White Sox.

Del Castillo picked up two starts at catcher and one at designated hitter over the past three games, but he'll hit the bench Wednesday while the White Sox send lefty Anthony Kay to the hill. With Del Castillo sitting, Jose Fernandez will serve as Arizona's DH and James McCann will get the nod behind the dish.

Lowe (knee) is starting at second base and batting second in Wednesday's game against the Rangers.

Lowe was held out of Tuesday's lineup while managing left knee discomfort, but the veteran has been given the green light to return for Wednesday's contest. He is slashing .267/.375/.600 with seven home runs, 18 RBI and 12 runs scored over 88 plate appearances this season.

Lee (leg) is starting in right field and batting sixth against the Dodgers on Wednesday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Lee was removed from the sixth inning of Tuesday's game due an apparent left leg injury that he sustained on an awkward slide into home plate, but he's back in the starting nine a day later. Lee has six multi-hit games over his last 10 outings, and over that span he has gone 15-for-39 (.385) with one home run, four RBI, three doubles and three runs scored.
