Abner was optioned to Triple-A Reno on Sunday, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

Abner appeared in nine contests with Arizona during spring training, giving up five runs on eight hits and four walks while striking out 12 batters over 9.2 innings. The nine appearances is tied with fellow relief pitcher Ryan Thompson for the team lead to this point. Abner produced a 4.91 ERA and 2.18 WHIP with five strikeouts over 3.2 innings in five appearances with the Diamondbacks during the 2025 regular season, and he'll now wait for his next shot with the major-league roster.

The Nationals designated McGarry for assignment Sunday, Mark Zuckerman of NatsJournal.com reports.

The right-hander was selected by the Nationals during the Rule 5 Draft in December, but the club won't keep him on the big-league roster. If he clears waivers, McGarry will be offered back to the Phillies, with whom he spent most of 2025 at Double-A Reading.

Atlanta plans to utilize Fuentes as a long reliever for the first couple weeks of the season before sending him to work as a starter at Triple-A Gwinnett, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

It was reported Saturday that Fuentes would be included on Atlanta's Opening Day roster, and it's not a surprise he'll work in long relief after covering at least three frames in each of his three Grapefruit League appearances. The 20-year-old righty was dominant this spring, finishing with a 17:0 K:BB across nine scoreless and hitless innings. Fuentes may not open the campaign in Atlanta's rotation, but he could still get that opportunity at some point in 2026, especially if Bryce Elder stumbles out of the gate.

Harrison (finger) completed a bullpen session Saturday and is expected to be included on the Brewers' Opening Day roster, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Harrison exited his final Cactus League start Wednesday after developing a blister on his left index finger, but his ability to throw off a mound just a few days later puts him on track to avoid a stint on the injured list to begin the season. Milwaukee hasn't yet indicated if Harrison will pitch in either of the team's final two exhibition games Monday and Tuesday versus the Reds, but assuming the finger didn't present any issues for him during his recent bullpen session, the southpaw should be ready to make his first turn through the Milwaukee rotation once the regular season gets underway. The Brewers are still deciding where to slot Harrison in the pitching order based on the status of Brandon Woodruff (lat), who has been built up slowly during the spring but is also trending toward being included in the season-opening rotation.

Manager Warren Schaeffer said Sunday that Dollander will begin the season in the Colorado bullpen, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Dollander is one of the more prized young arms in the organization, and while the Rockies still likely view him as a starter over the long haul, he'll begin the season in a lower-leverage multi-inning role out of the bullpen on the heels of a rough spring. Over 14 innings in Cactus League play, the 24-year-old righty submitted a 6.43 ERA, 1.79 WHIP and 10:7 K:BB.

The Brewers optioned Drohan to Triple-A Nashville on Sunday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

The left-hander was in the mix for a rotation spot but will instead begin the season in the minors after posting a 4.26 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 15:4 K:BB over 12.2 innings during spring training. Drohan, who was acquired from the Red Sox in the Caleb Durbin trade in February, is still likely to make his Brewers debut at some point this season.

Feltner beat out Chase Dollander for the final spot in the rotation despite getting roughed up for 13 earned runs on 14 hits and 10 walks while striking out 14 over 11.2 innings in his five Cactus League outings. The right-hander owns a more palatable 5.19 ERA and 10.7 K-BB percentage over parts of five big-league seasons, but even in NL-only leagues, Feltner can't be rostered with much confidence.

Manager Warren Schaeffer said Sunday that Julien will be included on the Rockies' Opening Day roster, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Julien has no minor-league options remaining, so he always seemed to be in good position to make the Opening Day roster even after producing a middling .693 OPS during Cactus League play. The 26-year-old's role remains unclear, however, and he could find playing time tough to come by if he's unable to secure a strong-side platoon job at first base, second base or designated hitter. Julien offers limited defensive utility and owns a lowly .209/.278/.313 slash line (66 wRC+) over 126 career plate appearances versus left-handed pitchers.

Ritter is expected to fill a utility role for the Rockies after slashing .333/.404/.529 with two home runs and three stolen bases over 57 plate appearances in the Cactus League while seeing playing time at three infield spots as well as in left field. He should be in line for regular playing time versus left-handed pitching and could earn more opportunities against righties early on if Tyler Freeman (back) requires a stint on the injured list.

The Brewers optioned Gasser to Triple-A Nashville on Sunday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

The left-hander struggled a bit during spring training with a 5.11 ERA and 1.46 WHIP across 12.1 innings, though his 14:4 K:BB was more encouraging. Gasser returned to the big leagues for two outings late in the regular season last year after recovering from Tommy John surgery, but he won't open 2026 in the big leagues. Brandon Woodruff (lat) and Kyle Harrison (finger) aren't at full strength with Opening Day just a few days out, so it's possible Gasser will be back with the big club in short order.
