Phillips (5-0) retired all four batters he faced Friday night against the Brewers, striking out three while picking up the win.

Since getting called back up from Triple-A Louisville, Phillips has posted a 1.45 ERA and 0.64 WHIP, striking out 26 while walking seven over 18.2 innings. Phillips has quietly been one of the success stories for the Reds, converting from starter to reliever while overcoming Thoracic Outlet Syndrome in the neck. Given Phillips's 33.0 percent strikeout rate and 98.3-mph average fastball, his role in the Reds' bullpen in 2026 could be elevated.

McGreevy (8-4) took the loss Saturday, giving up three runs on six hits and two walks over 4.2 innings as the Cardinals were downed 7-3 by the Cubs. He struck out three.

A pair of homers by Michael Busch accounted for all the damage off McGreevy, who got the hook after 88 pitches (56 strikes). The loss was only the second for the right-hander since the beginning of August, and over his final 11 starts of 2025 he went 6-2 with a 4.16 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 39:15 K:BB in 62.2 innings, staking a solid claim to a spot in St. Louis' 2026 rotation.

Glasnow is expected to pitch between three and five innings in Saturday's start against Seattle, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Glasnow will be held back slightly in his final regular-season start of the year, and his outing will depend on how far he's gotten when he reaches the team's designated pitch count for him Saturday. Andrew Heaney is expected to take the mound following Glasnow and soak up the extra innings that Glasnow would've likely handled.

Manaea will start Sunday's game against the Marlins, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Manaea will toe the rubber for the Mets' all-important final regular-season contest. The left-hander has struggled to a 7.64 ERA and 1.42 WHIP with 19 strikeouts over 17.2 innings in five appearances, including three starts, in September. It's possible that Manaea will be on a short leash versus Miami considering New York is on the postseason bubble, making him an unpredictable fantasy asset in Game 162.

Doyle went 2-for-3 with a double and a solo home run during the Rockies' 4-3 loss to the Giants on Saturday.

Doyle gave the Rockies a two-run lead in the second inning with a solo shot off Justin Verlander. It was Doyle's 15th home run of the season but his first since Aug. 23 against the Pirates. He has struggled at the plate since Sept. 1 with a .432 OPS, two steals and four RBI in 23 strikeouts across 78 plate appearances.

Schmitt went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Rockies.

Schmitt put the Giants on the board and gave them a 3-2 lead with his long shot off Kyle Freeland in the third inning. It was Schmitt's 12th home run on the season, which is more than he tallied in the two years prior combined (11). He has a .707 OPS with nine runs, three homers and nine RBI in 78 plate appearances since Sept. 1.

Bivens closed things out in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Rockies after striking out one batter across two-thirds of an inning to come away with the save.

Ryan Walker was brought in to close things out in the ninth inning, but he was pulled after yielding a solo homer to Jordan Beck before allowing two more baserunners. The Giants turned to Bivens, who proceeded to strike out Warming Bernabel before plunking Ryan Ritter to load the bases, but Bivens was able to secure the win after getting Ezequiel Tovar to pop out in foul territory. Biven sits at a 4.10 ERA and 1.35 WHIP across 79 innings this season.

Alonso went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, a walk and an additional run scored in Saturday's 5-0 win over the Marlins.

Alonso ripped his 38th big fly of the season and his seventh of the month. The All-Star first baseman will likely fall short of what could be his fourth career 40-homer year, barring a multi-homer effort in Sunday's regular-season finale in Miami, but he's once again been a prolific four-category fantasy stud in 2025. Through 161 outings, Alonso is batting a career-high .273 with 126 RBI and 87 runs scored.

Freeland (5-17) took the loss against the Giants on Saturday, allowing three runs on three hits and one walk while striking out four across six innings.

It was a tough loss for Freeland, whose lone (but crucial) blemish came in the third inning, when he yielded a three-run homer to Casey Schmitt. Freeland will end the season with 17 losses, which is the most of his career and would lead the majors at the end of the season unless the Nationals' Mitchell Parker (9-16) were to take a loss out of the bullpen. Freeland will end the 2025 season with a 4.98 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 124:38 K:BB across 162.2 innings.

Irvin allowed four runs on six hits and a walk across six innings in a no-decision Saturday versus the White Sox. He struck out six.

All of the damage against Irvin came via a pair of two-run home runs in the fourth inning -- Irvin's given up 38 homers this season, the most in the majors. After going 7-5 with a 4.58 ERA in the first half of the season, Irvin went just 2-8 while struggling to a 7.73 ERA across 13 starts (64 innings) following the All-Star break. Overall, he'll finish the year with a 5.70 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 124 strikeouts across 33 starts (180 innings).
