Bell is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Bell will take a seat Sunday after going 1-for-7 with two RBI and two strikeouts in the first two games of the series. Andres Chaparro is manning first base in the series finale for Washington.

Wrobleski notched a hold against the Giants on Saturday, striking out four batters over 2.1 perfect relief innings.

Both teams turned on the offense early in the contest, and when Wrobleski entered in the bottom of the fifth frame, Los Angeles was clinging onto a two-run lead with the tying run coming to the plate. The southpaw struck out Heliot Ramos to end that threat, then cruised through two more perfect frames while the Dodgers tacked three runs onto their lead. Wrobleski went through a rough stretch in mid-August during which he took two losses and gave up five runs over three outings spanning 5.1 innings. He's turned things around dramatically since then -- over his past four appearances, Wrobleski has pitched 7.1 scoreless frames while posting a sizzling 13:1 K:BB.

The Pirates list Ashcraft as their probable starting pitcher for Monday's game against the Cubs at PNC Park.

In his most recent appearance during Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Orioles, Ashcraft covered three innings out of the bullpen while piggybacking starter Mike Burrows, who was lifted after covering the first four frames. The Pirates look set to break up the tandem and move to a six-man rotation during the upcoming week, as Burrows will start Sunday's series finale in Washington while Ashcraft gets the ball for the first contest of a six-game homestand. Though he's returning to a starting role, Ashcraft could still have his workload monitored carefully Monday since he's already tossed 32.2 more innings in 2025 than he did during the 2024 season.

Winn allowed one earned run on two hits while striking out one over one inning in Saturday's 13-7 defeat to the Dodgers.

Winn entered the game in the ninth, surrendering a single and a double while throwing 11 of his 13 pitches for strikes. The right-hander has appeared in four outings since being recalled to San Francisco on Aug. 26, allowing four earned runs on nine hits -- including one home run -- and one walk while striking out six in six innings. In six appearances this season, he owns a 4.50 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 8:2 K:BB across eight innings.

Chapman went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, an RBI, a double and a walk in Saturday's 13-7 loss to the Dodgers.

Chapman lined an RBI single to left field in the first inning before coming around to score. He added a double in the fifth and scored once again, marking his fourth multi-hit performance across 11 games this month. He's slashing .361/.465/.722 with 10 runs scored, seven RBI, four doubles and three home runs across 43 plate appearances in September. Overall, he has recorded a .243/.352/.456 slash line with 70 runs scored, 57 RBI, 21 long balls and nine stolen bases in 480 plate appearances this season.

Atlanta selected Williams' contract from Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday.

The utility man was outrighted to Gwinnett last weekend after being designated for assignment by Atlanta, but he's back in the big leagues with Jake Fraley (oblique) landing on the injured list. Williams has gone 4-for-30 with five stolen bases in 44 MLB games this season and is unlikely to see much playing time while up with the big club.

Mlodzinski (4-8) allowed one hit and struck out three across two scoreless innings to earn the win Saturday against the Nationals.

Mlodzinski followed Bubba Chandler into the game, entering in the seventh inning with the score tied 1-1. Mlodzinski generated six swinging strikes on 30 total pitches to turn in his second consecutive scoreless relief appearance. Since the start of August, he has a 2.55 ERA and 1.09 WHIP with a 29:10 K:BB across 24.2 innings while pitching primarily in a bulk-relief role.

Keller (4-2) allowed a run on two hits and a walk across an inning of relief to take the loss Saturday against the Rays.

Keller worked the top of the ninth inning in a 4-4 game and promptly served up a go-ahead home run to Nick Fortes to take the loss. It was the first run allowed by the veteran righty since July 12, a streak of 22 appearances coming into Saturday. Keller still has a sparkling 2.20 ERA and 0.98 WHIP overall, and he should maintain a key role in Chicago's bullpen, though it appears that Andrew Kittredge is the next man up as closer with Daniel Palencia (shoulder) on the injured list.

Leahy (4-2) allowed two runs (one earned) over 1.1 innings, taking a blown save and a loss Saturday in Milwaukee.

Leahy was put into an impossible situation in the bottom of the ninth, taking over for an ineffective Riley O'Brien with runners on the corners, no one out and the Cardinals nursing a one-run lead. He did well to give up just one run that frame to send the game to the 10th. Leahy remained in the game after the Cardinals scored one in the top of the 10th, and he coughed up the tying and winning runs to get saddled with a loss. The 28-year-old Leahy will likely remain in the mix for high-leverage appearances for the Cardinals, though he is often used earlier in games for multiple innings.

Atlanta placed Fraley on the 10-day injured list Sunday, retroactive to Sept. 11, due to a strained right oblique.

Fraley hasn't seen the field since Tuesday against the Cubs, so it's unclear when exactly he picked up the injury. The veteran outfielder is without an official timeline for his return and will be eligible to be reinstated Sept. 21. However, it wouldn't be surprising if he doesn't return for the final week of the regular season given the nature of the injury.
