Ramos isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Cardinals, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

The Giants will give the red-hot Ramos a day to rest Saturday after he extended his hitting streak to six games with a two-hit performance Friday. While he sits, Luis Matos, Jung Hoo Lee and Drew Gilbert will start across the outfield for San Francisco.

McCutchen isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Milwaukee.

McCutchen will get a day to regroup after going 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in Friday's loss. Bryan Reynolds will replace him as the Pirates' designated hitter with Nick Yorke in right field.

Ozuna isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Seattle.

Ozuna will retreat to the bench Saturday after going 1-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts in Friday's series opener. Drake Baldwin will work as Atlanta's designated hitter instead with Sean Murphy behind the plate.

Rushing (shin) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Orioles, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Rushing wasn't able to walk off the field under his own power after fouling a ball off his right leg Friday, and he'll remain on the bench for Saturday's contest while he recovers. Ben Rortvedt will draw the start behind home plate as a result and bat ninth.

Crow-Armstrong was removed from Saturday's game against the Nationals with a right knee contusion, Ryan Herrera of AllCHGO.com reports.

Crow-Armstrong was able to finish his at-bat after fouling a ball off his knee during the sixth inning, though he was replaced on defense when the Cubs took the field in the seventh. The Cubs are officially labeling his injury as a contusion, which suggests he didn't suffer any significant damage from the foul tip, though he may sit out a game or two as a precaution.

Yelich (back) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Pirates.

Yelich hasn't played since Monday due to lingering back issues, and given the outfielder's history with back problems, the Brewers likely won't risk rushing him back until he's fully healthy. Jake Bauers will draw another start as Milwaukee's DH on Saturday and bat fifth.

Collins isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Pittsburgh.

Collins has recorded a hit in all four of Milwaukee's games since the start of September, but he'll grab a seat on the bench to begin Saturday's contest. Jackson Chourio, Blake Perkins and Sal Frelick will form the Brewers' outfield trio while Collins sits.

Alvarez isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Cincinnati.

Alvarez went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts Friday in his return from a finger injury, and the Mets will get him another day to rest Saturday. While he sits, Luis Torrens will start behind the plate and bat eighth.

The Padres recalled Vasquez from Triple-A El Paso ahead of his start Saturday versus the Rockies.

The right-hander will join the Padres' rotation to fill the void left by Nestor Cortes' (biceps) move to the injured list Friday. Vasquez will have the benefit of facing one of the worst offenses in baseball during his return to the majors, against whom he gave up two earned runs over six innings while striking out five batters back on May 9. Sean Reynolds was optioned to El Paso in a corresponding move.

The Padres optioned Reynolds to Triple-A El Paso on Saturday.

Reynolds will lose his place in the big-league bullpen to make room for Randy Vasquez, who was recalled from Triple-A to start Saturday's game against Colorado. Reynolds, 27, owns a 5.33 ERA and 1.37 WHIP through 27 innings in the majors this season but could still make another appearance for San Diego if/when the team needs a fresh bullpen arm.
