Yorke went 1-for-2 on Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Yorke was called up to the majors when rosters expanded and made his first appearance of 2025. He started at first base and hit seventh with lefty Clayton Kershaw on the mound and tallied his first hit in the opening frame. Yorke could settle into a short-side platoon with Spencer Horwitz at first base.

The Reds recalled Richardson from Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday.

Richardson will provide the Reds with a fresh arm after they went with a bullpen game in Tuesday's 12-9 loss to the Blue Jays. He's collected a 3.93 ERA and 30:20 K:BB over 36.2 frames during his time with the big club this season.

The Reds optioned Sanmartin to Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday.

Sanmartin gave the Reds 1.2 innings out of the bullpen in his lone day with the team, giving up one unearned run in Tuesday's loss to the Blue Jays. Lyon Richardson was recalled from Triple-A to take Sanmartin's spot on the active roster and in the bullpen.

Pham went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Pham accounted for most of his production in the first inning with a two-RBI double. The performance extended his hitting streak to six games, and he has at least one hit in 11 of his last 13 games. In that 13-game span, Pham has 14 RBI and nine runs scored while hitting .292.

Megill (elbow) struck out five batters and allowed three earned runs on six hits and two walks over four innings in a rehab start Tuesday with Triple-A Syracuse.

After tossing five innings in the third start of his rehab assignment Aug. 22, Megill has now covered four frames his last two times out at Triple-A, but he was able to get stretched out to 79 pitches Tuesday and looks ready to return from the 60-day injured list. The Mets haven't confirmed that Megill will be deployed as a starter upon his activation, though he looks like a decent bet to get a look in that role while Kodai Senga and Sean Manaea have struggled since the beginning of August to put their standing in the rotation on shaky ground. If Megill is inserted into the rotation, he could be reinstated for Sunday's game in Cincinnati, though the Mets may prefer to wait until early next week to make a roster move in order to give him an extra day or two to recover from Tuesday's outing with Syracuse.

Triolo went 2-for-4 with a walk, two doubles, two runs scored, two RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 9-7 win over the Dodgers.

The 27-year-old infielder was a force at the top of the lineup, producing his eighth multi-hit performance since Aug. 15. Over that 17-game stretch, Triolo is slashing .375/.485/.625 with nine extra-base hits (six doubles, a triple and two homers) in addition to five steals, seven RBI and 12 runs. While he won't maintain that blistering pace, Triolo has shown flashes of offensive upside in the past, and he could be establishing a foothold in the Pirates' 2026 plans.

Santana gave up one run on one hit and one walk in the ninth inning Tuesday to record his 12th save of the season in a 9-7 win over the Dodgers.

The right-hander had plenty of cushion, allowing him to convert his sixth straight save chance. Since a shaky five-run outing at Coors Field in his first appearance following David Bednar's trade to the Yankees, Santana has looked the part of the Pirates' closer, posting a 2.92 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 8:4 K:BB over his last 12.1 innings.

The Mets recalled Herget from Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday.

Herget was touched up for three runs over 2.1 innings in Tuesday's win over the Tigers. The righty reliever will operate in a low-leverage role in the Mets' bullpen down the stretch.

Chandler (2-0) picked up the win Tuesday over the Dodgers, giving up three runs on six hits over four relief innings in a 9-7 victory. He struck out three without walking a batter.

Entering the game in the third inning to piggyback Carmen Mlodzinski once again, Chandler racked up an impressive 22 called or swinging strikes on only 50 pitches (34 total strikes), but he also served up his first two homers in the majors, getting taken deep by Shohei Ohtani and Andy Pages. Through his first three appearances with the Pirates, Chandler has lasted exactly four innings each time, producing a 2.25 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 9:1 K:BB. If the Bucs maintain that piggyback arrangement, the duo will be lined up to take the mound again this weekend at home against the Brewers -- setting up a potential marquee matchup of flame-throwing rookies between Chandler and Jacob Misiorowski.

Ohtani went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a home run and two RBI in Tuesday's 9-7 loss to the Pirates.

The Dodgers found themselves staring at a 4-0 deficit after the first inning, but Ohtani did his best to get his team back into it, launching a 99.2 mph fastball from Bubba Chandler down the right-field line for a solo shot in the third inning. It was Ohtani's 46th home run of the season, giving him an even 100 in a Dodgers uniform, and the three-hit performance snapped a 7-for-40 skid (.175) over his prior 11 games.
