Arraez went 4-for-5 with a solo home run and a double in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Athletics.

Arraez has three multi-hit efforts over his last five games. He also picked up a pair of extra-base hits Friday, doing so for the first time since he had a pair of doubles May 4 versus the Padres. The infielder's homer was his first of the year to go with 15 RBI, 17 runs scored, eight doubles, two triples and four stolen bases over 42 contests. He's batting .317 with a .759 OPS and continues to avoid whiffing, having struck out just 3.8 percent of the time this year.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Friday that there is a "slim possibility" Ryan will enter the team's big-league rotation in place of Blake Snell (elbow), Jack Harris of the California Post reports.

Snell landed on the 15-day injured list Friday and could be looking at an extended absence if he needs surgery. With Tyler Glasnow (back) also on the IL, Los Angeles could need to find a fill-in starter, though Harris notes the team is set with five healthy starters ahead of next Thursday's off day. Ryan doesn't seem likely to join the MLB rotation given Roberts' comments, but the skipper didn't entirely rule out the possibility. Ryan is coming back from an injury of his own -- a hamstring issue that cost him nearly a month -- but he returned to action Friday for Triple-A Oklahoma City and tossed four innings, allowing one run on two hits and one walk while striking out four batters. He tossed 53 pitches in the outing, so the right-hander presumably isn't fully ramped up following his absence. Ultimately, the Dodgers may not need to dig into their minor-league depth for a sixth starter if Glasnow returns in time for the team's next stretch of six consecutive games, which will not begin until May 29 versus Philadelphia.

Mahle (1-5) allowed five runs on 10 hits and a walk while striking out six over five innings to take the loss Friday versus the Athletics.

Mahle did a fair job until the fifth inning, when he allowed a three-run home run to Nick Kurtz and an RBI single to Henry Bolte. This marks the fifth time Mahle has allowed at least four runs this season, though this is the first time all year he's had two poor outings in a row. The 31-year-old is now at a 5.59 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 48:21 K:BB through 46.2 innings over nine starts. He's projected for a road start versus the Diamondbacks in his next outing.

Ibanez cleared waivers Friday and was sent outright to Triple-A Syracuse, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Ibanez was jettisoned off the 40-man roster to make room for top prospect A.J. Ewing, but the former will stay put with the Mets after clearing waivers and work as organizational depth. The 33-year-old went 0-for-6 during his time with the Mets and owns just a .202 OPS in the majors this season.

Bregman went 2-for-5 with a walk and three runs scored in Friday's 10-5 win over the White Sox.

Bregman is heating up with a six-game hitting streak, and he's batting .308 with a home run and five runs scored during the productive stretch. It's been a bit of a slow start overall for the veteran third baseman (.696 OPS), but his recent play could be a preview of better days ahead, and there should be no shortage of playing time for Bregman in the heart of Chicago's lineup.

Suzuki went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 10-5 win over the White Sox.

Suzuki snapped an 0-for-15 slump over his last four games with his first multi-hit performance since May 4. The outfielder has still been productive overall with a .272/.382/.491 slash line across 31 games. Suzuki has also put an early-season knee issue behind him, and he should continue to post strong stats as long as he remains healthy.

Brazoban will serve as the Mets' opening pitcher for Saturday's game against the Yankees, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.

The Mets seem to like using the right-handed Brazoban as an opener ahead of left-hander David Peterson, as the two are now set to work in tandem for the third time this month. Brazoban's last opening assignment didn't go very well, as he allowed two earned runs and walked three batters over one inning against Arizona and was hit with his first loss of the season. He'll aim to bounce back Saturday in what will likely be a one-inning start.

Ramos was removed from Friday's game against the Athletics due to right quad tightness, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Ramos appeared to be in discomfort after taking a swing in the sixth inning. He finished out the at-bat but was replaced in the outfield once the two teams switched sides. The Giants will likely send Ramos in for imaging to determine the severity of his injury, and if the 26-year-old has to miss any amount of time, Drew Gilbert would be next in line to start in left.

Bleday went 3-for-5 with two doubles, one RBI and two runs scored during the Reds' 7-6 win over the Guardians on Friday.

Bleday's RBI fielder's choice in the ninth inning ended up being the game winner in Friday's series opener. He has been hot at the plate recently, having logged multi-hit games in three of his last five games while going 10-for-18 with two home runs, three doubles, 12 RBI and six runs scored over that span. Bleday has a 1.241 OPS with six home runs and 19 RBI across 71 plate appearances this season.

Harper went 4-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Friday's 11-9 extra-inning win over the Pirates.

Harper delivered his first four-hit attack of the season Friday, also turning in his third game with at least three knocks in the month of May. The All-Star first baseman is off to an excellent start at the dish in 2026, slashing .282/.372/.534 with 20 extra-base hits, 26 RBI and 24 walks to go with 26 runs scored and two stolen bases across 188 plate appearances.
