Scott is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

The left-handed-hitting Scott has fared far better against lefties (.299 wOBA) than righties (.175 wOBA) this season, but he'll hit the bench for the series finale while the Dodgers send southpaw Justin Wrobleski to the hill. Nathan Church will slide over from his usual spot in left field to cover center field in Scott's absence.

Gorman is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

After Marsee started the last six games, the Marlins will give the left-handed hitter a day off with southpaw Jesus Luzardo on the hill for Philadelphia. Esteury Ruiz will spell Marsee in center field and bat eighth.

Hicks is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.

With lefty Jesus Luzardo on the bump for the Phillies, the left-handed hitter will hit the bench. Agustin Ramirez draws the start at catcher for Miami, while Christopher Morel serves as the team's designated hitter in Hicks' absence.

Caissie (illness) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.

Caissie is on the bench for the second day in a row, after an illness caused him to be scratched prior to Saturday's 4-0 win. The Phillies are sending left-hander Jesus Luzardo to the hill Sunday, so Caissie's continued absence from the starting nine might have more to do with the matchup than his illness.

Manager Walt Weiss said Sunday that Acuna has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 strain of his left hamstring, Chad Bishop of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

The 28-year-old outfielder was placed on the injured list earlier Sunday after sustaining the injury during Saturday's 9-1 win over the Rockies, but he appears to have avoided a more serious setback than Atlanta had feared. Acuna is without an official timeline for his return, but the encouraging diagnosis could mean that his absence isn't a lengthy one.

Marchan is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

On the bench for the second day in a row, Marchan has moved back into the No. 2 role at catcher after J.T. Realmuto was reinstated from the injured list Saturday. Before Realmuto's return, Marchan had started five of the Phillies' prior six games and gone 1-for-16.

Davis is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.

The No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 First-Year Player Draft will give way to Joey Bart behind the plate. Davis started the last three games and went 2-for-12 with a pair of home runs, a walk, four RBI and an additional run over that stretch.
