Chisholm went 1-for-2 before being removed prior to the sixth inning of Sunday's game against the Twins due to an unspecified issue, Jorge Castillo of ESPN.com reports.

The Yankees should provide word later Sunday regarding what prompted Chisholm's removal from the game, but he appeared to be in some discomfort after fouling off a pitch in his fifth-inning at-bat before ultimately flying out to right field. Jose Caballero shifted over from third base to replace Chisholm at second base in the top of the sixth.

Haase is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

After Daniel Susac (back) landed on the 10-day injured list June 26, Haase looked to be next in line to serve as Giants' primary catcher. Instead, Drew Cavanaugh has ascended to the top of the depth chart since being called up from Triple-A Sacramento following Susac's move to the IL, while Haase has been stuck in the No. 2 role. Haase will be stuck on the bench for the fourth time in five games while Cavanaugh picks up another start behind the dish.

Bericoto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

After starting in the Giants' previous three games while going 4-for-12 with a home run and two doubles, Bericoto will give up his spot in the outfield to Drew Gilbert in the series finale in Colorado. Bericoto has put together a sterling .298/.313/.617 slash line over his first 48 plate appearances in the majors, and as long as he keeps raking, he should have a path to a near-everyday role until one of Harrison Bader (foot) or Matt Chapman (abdomen) returns from the injured list.

Ohtani (biceps) is batting leadoff as the designated hitter Sunday against the Padres, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Ohtani was held out of Saturday's starting nine after exiting Friday's contest due to biceps discomfort, but he's back in action for Sunday's series finale, which happens to be his 32nd birthday. The two-way superstar is off to a slow start at the plate in July, going 1-for-12 with a walk and three strikeouts through three games. It remains to be seen if the biceps issue will affect Ohtani's availability for his next turn through the rotation, which currently lines up for next weekend versus Arizona.

Allen will start at shortstop and bat eighth in Sunday's game against the Rays.

Since coming off the 10-day injured list Monday, Allen has drawn starts in five of Houston's ensuing six games while going 3-for-14 with a double, two walks, two runs and one RBI. Per Brian McTaggart of MLB.com, Astros manager Joe Espada said prior to Sunday's game that he anticipates top shortstop Jeremy Pena (calf) returning from the IL as soon as next Friday, so Allen's run as a regular in the lineup will soon come to an end.

Pratt is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Pratt will sit Sunday after starting the previous four games, and he went 2-for-12 with three walks, a steal and a run during that span. The 21-year-old has struggled to a .200/.317/.220 slash line with one double, six steals, two RBI and five runs in his first 17 big-league games. Joey Ortiz is taking over at shortstop for the series finale in Arizona.

Diaz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

He'll rest up for the series finale after logging starts behind the plate in each of the Astros' previous four games. Christian Vazquez will serve as Houston's catcher Sunday.

Walls is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.

Walls will get a breather after he went 10-for-36 (.278 average) with one stolen base, nine runs and two RBI while starting in the Rays' previous 11 games. Ben Williamson will replace Walls at shortstop and will bat sixth in the series finale.

Osuna is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

Josh Smith will draw the start in left field while Osuna rests in the series finale. Osuna had been in the lineup the previous 13 games, slashing .250/.294/.271 with zero home runs or stolen bases, five runs and four RBI.

Higashioka is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

Higashioka initially looked primed to serve as the Rangers' No. 1 backstop when Danny Jansen (forearm) landed on the injured list June 6, but the hot-hitting Elias Diaz has instead leapfrogged him on the depth chart. Higashioka will hit the bench for the fifth time in the last eight games, with one of his three starts during that stretch coming at designated hitter.
