The Pirates are expected to recall Kelly from Triple-A Indianapolis ahead of Friday's game against the Marlins, Francys Romero of BeisbolFR.com reports.

The 22-year-old will be looking to make his big-league debut after posting a 4.50 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 47:24 K:BB across 54 innings with Indianapolis. Kelly appeared in 13 games, making 10 starts, at Triple-A. He's expected to work out of the Pittsburgh bullpen.

Alonso went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 7-5 win over the Mariners.

After also homering in Wednesday's contest, Alonso has now gone deep in consecutive games for the third time this season. Over his last 15 contests, he's hitting .279 (17-for-61) with five long balls and 11 RBI. The first baseman continues to be a steady source of power with 15 homers, 44 RBI, 42 runs scored, 12 doubles and two stolen bases while batting .243 with a .775 OPS over 70 contests this season.

Manager Dave Roberts said Thursday that Wrobleski (hamstring) is expected to be able to make his next start, Maddie Lee of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Wrobleski was removed from Thursday's start against the Pirates after taking a comebacker off his leg, and he was later diagnosed with a hamstring contusion. Both Roberts and Wrobleski said they don't anticipate the injury to affect the left-hander's ability to make his next start, which is lined up for next week against the Rays.

Kittredge threw a scoreless and hitless inning without striking out or walking a batter to earn the save in Thursday's 7-5 win over the Mariners.

One runner reached base on an error, but Kittredge was able to settle in and lock it down. He needed just six pitches in total, getting three groundouts. He's been a little spotty this season, allowing at least one run in seven of his 17 appearances, but it's a seven-run meltdown from May 3 versus the Yankees that has skewed his ratios. He's at a 6.75 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 15:4 K:BB with a save, two holds and a blown save across 14.2 innings this season. The right-hander is the fifth pitcher to log a save for Baltimore this season, though Kittredge will likely be limited to a setup role once Ryan Helsley (elbow) comes off the injured list.

Bradish allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out five over four innings in a no-decision against the Mariners on Thursday.

The Orioles built up a 6-1 lead in the third inning, but Bradish gave four runs back in the fourth. That would be his last frame of the game after throwing 85 pitches (52 strikes) in the start. He looked to have turned a corner in late May, but he's allowed 10 runs over eight innings across his two starts in June. Overall, Bradish is at a 4.30 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 73:39 K:BB through 73.1 innings over 14 starts this season. His next start is projected to be a rematch against the Mariners in Seattle.

Manager Dave Roberts indicated Ohtani (knee) has a strong chance to be in the starting lineup Friday against the White Sox, Jack Harris of the California Post reports.

Ohtani exited Thursday's 8-6 win over the Pirates in the seventh inning with left knee inflammation. Roberts said following the game that his concern level for Ohtani's injury is "not high," and that he feels good about the 31-year-old's chances to play Friday. Ohtani appears to have avoided a major injury, so fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief.

Kelly went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's 9-3 win over the Rockies.

A day after getting a break from the starting lineup, Kelly returned with his third home run of the season. The Chicago catcher has been a steady enough hitter with a .282 batting average and .731 OPS across 51 games, though Thursday's long ball was his first since April 18. The power has been noticeably down from 2025, when Kelly went deep 17 times in 111 regular-season contests.

Wrobleski suffered a right hamstring contusion in Thursday's contest against the Pirates, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

Wrobleski exited the game with two outs in the bottom of the fifth inning after taking a liner off the bat of Bryan Reynolds to his right thigh. It's now understood to be a hamstring contusion, and the 25-year-old's availability for his next turn through the rotation will likely depend on how his body recovers over the next few days. Wrobleski can be considered day-to-day for the time being ahead of his next tentative start against Tampa Bay.

Bregman went 1-for-4 with a walk, a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Thursday's 9-3 win over the Rockies.

Bregman enjoyed the thin Colorado air as he blasted his sixth home run of the season in the seventh inning. The Chicago third baseman came into the contest batting just .138 this month, and it's been a down campaign overall in his first year with the Cubs, as he has a .685 OPS through 310 plate appearances. Bregman has played in 68 of the team's 69 games, however, and he should continue to see ample playing time as he looks to build some momentum for the stretch run.

Ohtani left Thursday's contest against the Pirates in the seventh inning due to left knee inflammation, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

Ohtani was replaced by Santiago Espinal at the plate in the top of the seventh inning, and the team quickly announced that Ohtani was dealing with a knee issue. The 31-year-old underwent surgery on the left knee in 2019, and it's unclear if Thursday's issue has anything to do with the previous injury. He finished the night having gone 2-for-2 with a home run, two runs scored and two walks. More information on his status will likely be provided in the near future.
