Nimmo is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Guardians and underwent an MRI on his shoulder earlier in the day, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Nimmo played a full nine innings during Sunday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jays, but he appeared to be in pain after colliding with the right-field wall while he flagged down a flyball for the game's final out. Per Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News, Nimmo relayed after the game that he suffered a cut above his eye in addition to jamming his shoulder. Nimmo said that he felt "OK" upon reporting to the ballpark Monday, though he acknowledged that his shoulder is still sore. The Rangers aren't expected to make him available off the bench for the series opener in Cleveland while the results of his MRI are pending.

The Cubs placed Shaw on the 10-day injured list Monday due to a sprained left hand, Jesse Rogers of ESPN.com reports.

Shaw injured his hand during Sunday's win over the Brewers. The sprain is considered mild, and manager Craig Counsell believes Shaw could return from the IL when first eligible June 9, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports. That said, with the All-Star break looming, any sort of hiccup would delay Shaw's return until the second half. With Shaw sidelined, Michael Conforto will start in right field Monday versus the Padres and is set to serve as the Cubs' primary option at the position against right-handed pitching.

The Astros optioned Delgado to Triple-A Sugar Land on Monday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Delgado popped his first major-league home run in Sunday's win over the Guardians, but he finds himself back in the minors a day later. He's clearing off the roster to make room for the return of Nick Allen (hamstring) from the injured list.

The Padres reinstated Cronenworth (concussion) from the 7-day injured list Monday. He'll start at second base and bat ninth in the Padres' series opener versus the Cubs.

San Diego optioned infielder/designated hitter Will Wagner to Triple-A El Paso to clear a spot on the 26-man active roster for Cronenworth, who returns to the Padres after a nearly two-month stint on the shelf. Cronenworth proved his health last week during a three-game rehab stint with El Paso, going 3-for-12 with a home run and a double while making one start apiece at second base, designated hitter and shortstop. The 32-year-old is likely to see most of his playing time at the keystone, which will result in Fernando Tatis transitioning back into more of a full-time role in right field after he split time between the infield and outfield while Cronenworth was out of commission.

The Astros activated Allen (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Monday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Allen has missed the past three weeks with a left hamstring strain, but he's been cleared to rejoin the active roster after playing two rehab games with Triple-A Sugar Land. The 27-year-old is expected to operate as a reserve infielder, though he'll start at shortstop and bat eighth in Monday's series opener versus the Twins while Jeremy Pena takes a seat due to leg discomfort, per Chandler Rome of The Athletic.

Suarez (wrist) is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Brewers.

Suarez went 0-for-2 before exiting Sunday's 9-4 loss to the Pirates after being hit in the left wrist by a pitch in the sixth inning. According to Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer, Suarez said that X-rays and a CT scan on his wrist both returned negative, leaving him optimistic that he'll be "ready to go" for the Reds' four-game set in Milwaukee. The Reds will keep him on the bench for the series opener, however, as Elly De La Cruz gets a night off from playing shortstop while he manages a sprained ankle but sticks in the starting nine at Suarez's usual spot at designated hitter.

De La Cruz (ankle) will start at designated hitter and bat leadoff in Monday's game against the Brewers.

De La Cruz appeared to twist an ankle while running out of the batter's box during a fifth-inning plate appearance in Sunday's 9-4 loss to the Pirates, though he was able to stay in the game after being checked out by a trainer. Manager Terry Francona indicated after the game that De La Cruz's availability for the start of the Reds' four-game series in Milwaukee was in some question, but the 24-year-old apparently made enough progress overnight for the club to feel comfortable with including him in the lineup Monday. De La Cruz will still get a day off from playing defense in an effort to limit the strain on his ankle, clearing the way for Matt McLain to pick up a start at shortstop.

The Dodgers reinstated Hernandez (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Monday. He'll start in left field and bat fifth in the Dodgers' series opener versus the Athletics.

Los Angeles optioned outfielder Ryan Ward to Triple-A Oklahoma City to clear room on the active roster for Hernandez, who will return to the Dodgers after a month-long stint on the shelf due to a left hamstring strain. Hernandez exhibited little sign of rust during his four-game rehab assignment at Triple-A last week, going 3-for-14 with three home runs and two walks. He'll likely step back into a near-everyday role in left field, which could result in Tommy Edman seeing more time at second base at the expense of Alex Freeland.

Schwellenbach (elbow) will likely report to Atlanta's spring training facility in early July and could be a candidate to rejoin the major-league rotation by late August or early September, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

To this point, Atlanta has only ruled Schwellenbach -- who is coming back from surgery to remove bone spurs from his right elbow -- out through the All-Star break. Bowman, though, notes that a typical spring training buildup could have Schwellenbach big-league ready by late August or early September. Any timeline for the righty is approximate at this point, as he still has several boxes to check in the rehab process.

Keith is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Yankees.

Southpaw Ryan Weathers is on the bump for the Yankees, so the Tigers will send three of key left-handed hitters in Keith, Riley Greene and Kerry Carpenter to the bench to open up more spots in the lineup for righty bats. Keith has logged just 14 plate appearances versus lefties this season and has reached base on just two occasions.
