Freeman went 3-for-5 with an RBI in Thursday's win over the Astros.

The performance snapped a 0-for-9 stretch for Freeman over his previous three games. While he remains a part-time option in the Rockies' outfield, he's seeing the ball well. In 34 plate appearances since the beginning of April, Freeman is hitting .300 with a .682 OPS.

Goodman went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a double, a walk and a strikeout in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Astros.

Goodman blasted his fifth homer of the season in the top of the fourth inning with a 397-foot blast to left center. The 2025 Silver Slugger is hitting just .217 in 53 plate appearances since the beginning of April but with an .821 OPS, four homers, six RBI, nine runs scored and a stolen base.

Buehler (1-0) earned the win Thursday against the Mariners, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out seven across five innings.

Buehler has bounced back effectively after allowing four runs in 2.2 innings against the Red Sox on April 5. He's given up just two runs on eight hits with an impressive 11:1 K:BB across 11 innings over his last two home starts, with Thursday's seven strikeouts being a season high. Buehler is scheduled to make his next start on the road against the Rockies next week.

Castillo (0-1) was tagged with the loss Thursday against the Padres, allowing four runs (one earned) on seven hits and three walks across 5.1 innings. He struck out three.

Castillo came just two outs away from notching a quality start, but the veteran right-hander continues to struggle. After opening the season with six scoreless innings and seven Ks in a no-decision March 30, Castillo has given up 15 runs (11 earned) on 23 hits with a 10:5 K:BB across 12.1 frames in April. He's scheduled to make his next start next week at home against the A's.

Weiss didn't factor into the decision Thursday against the Rockies, allowing two runs on three hits and four walks while fanning three across 3.2 innings.

The right-hander made his first start of his MLB career Thursday, but as had been the case in his previous two relief appearances, he didn't have much success. Weiss has tossed between 2.1 and 3.2 innings in four outings since the beginning of April, stumbling to a 7.71 ERA, 2.23 WHIP and 13:8 K:BB in 11.2 innings. Despite all the injuries to the Houston rotation, Weiss could be headed back to a long-relief role after this performance.

Roa (0-1) was tagged with the loss in relief Thursday against the Rockies, allowing a run on three hits across 1.1 innings.

Roa has made three straight multi-inning appearances out of the Astros bullpen, but the results have been far from encouraging. Over 5.2 innings, the right-hander has given up four earned runs on seven hits with a 4:3 BB:K while also hitting three batters. Roa owns a 4.91 ERA and 1.91 WHIP in five appearances and 7.1 innings since being recalled from Triple-A Sugar Land, and he could be returned to the minors soon as the Astros continue to try and patch together their staff in the wake of an injury epidemic.

Mejia didn't factor in the decision Thursday against the Astros, allowing two runs on three hits while striking out two in two-thirds of an inning.

Working as the opener ahead of Chase Dollander, Mejia couldn't even get out of the first inning after allowing RBI singles to Yordan Alvarez and Joey Loperfido. Mejia opened April with three consecutive scoreless outings, but the wheels have fallen off lately as he's allowed five runs across 2.0 innings over his last three appearances. On the season, Mejia's ERA has ballooned to 7.00 with a 2.00 WHIP over eight appearances and nine innings.

Dollander (2-1) earned the win in relief Thursday against the Astros after tossing 5.1 scoreless innings, allowing one hit and two walks while striking out nine.

Dollander pitched behind opener Juan Mejia, who allowed two runs on three hits across two-thirds of an inning, and he looked dominant in the bulk-relief appearance. The nine punchouts were a season high for Dollander, who hadn't struck out more than six in any of his previous three multi-inning appearances. Through five outings in 2026, Dollander owns an impressive 23:6 K:BB, as well as a 3.32 ERA and 1.11 WHIP, in 19 innings.

Vodnik secured his second save of the season Thursday, pitching a scoreless ninth inning against the Astros and allowing one walk with zero hits or strikeouts.

The right-hander has converted his last two save chances, but perhaps more importantly, he's now on a roll of six straight outings in which he hasn't allowed an earned run. Vodnik isn't overpowering hitters, as he owns a 4:4 K:BB in 7.0 innings during his scoreless streak, but he's getting the job done. Should he stumble in the closing role, Jimmy Herget or Jaden Hill could be the next men up in the ninth inning.

Miller pitched a scoreless inning and struck out the side Thursday against the Mariners to earn his sixth save of the season.

Miller has yet to allow a run this season, and dating back to the 2025 campaign, he's now thrown 30.2 consecutive scoreless innings, sitting three shy of Cia Meredith's franchise record. The right-hander's allowed just one hit in 9.1 innings in 2026 and has struck out 10 of the last 12 batters he's faced. Miller's last blown save came Aug. 5 of last season, when he worked the eighth inning in front of Robert Suarez. His last blown ninth-inning chance came on June 19, while he was still with the A's.
