Eovaldi did not factor into the decision Tuesday against the Cardinals, allowing four runs on 11 hits and one walk while striking out seven over six innings.

Eovaldi continued to miss bats effectively Tuesday, recording 14 whiffs while throwing 66 of his 93 pitches for strikes. The veteran right-hander entered the seventh inning in line for both the win and a quality start, but things unraveled quickly as he allowed four straight baserunners, leading to two runs that tied the game and forced his exit. The 11 hits allowed were a season high for Eovaldi, though he still completed six innings for his seventh consecutive start. He owns a 4.10 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 74:17 K:BB across 74.2 innings and is slated to face Kansas City next.

Manzardo went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run during the Guardians' 9-4 win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

Manzardo gave the Guardians a 3-2 lead in the fourth after taking Cam Schlittler deep to right-center field for a two-run home run. It was the sixth home run of the season for Manzardo and fourth in his last 12 games, though he's behind pace to match the 27 long balls that he struck in the 2025 regular season. He has a .688 OPS with 11 extra-base hits, 19 RBI and 21 runs scored across 185 plate appearances this season.

Ramirez went 3-for-5 with three doubles, two RBI and a run scored during the Guardians' 9-4 win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

Ramirez tied a career high with three doubles in Tuesday's win, with his second and third in the fifth and seventh innings, respectively, driving in a run each time. He's now up to 17 doubles on the season, which is tied with Tyler Soderstrom for second-most in the American League behind Ernie Clement (19). Ramirez has gone 8-for-26 (.308) with seven RBI over his last seven games.

Bazzana went 1-for-4 with a sacrifice fly and a three-run double during the Guardians' 9-4 win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

With the bases loaded in the eighth inning, Bazzana gave the Guardians insurance runs with a bases-clearing double off Camilo Doval. Bazzana's four runs driven in were a career high and the fifth multi-RBI game of the season for the 23-year-old second baseman. He has gone 12-for-36 (.333) with one steal, nine extra-base hits and five RBI over his last nine games.

Cantillo did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's win over the Yankees, allowing four runs on six hits and three walks while striking out four across four innings.

Cantillo failed to pitch into the fifth inning for a second consecutive start, with all four of the runs he gave up coming off the bat of Paul Goldschmidt. Cantillo ended up tossing 58 strikes on 91 pitches while generating 11 whiffs, though he logged just nine first-pitch strikes across the 21 batters he faced. He's given up four earned runs in three of his last four starts, which has him at a 3.92 ERA and 1.45 WHIP across 62 innings this season. Cantillo is lined up to face the Rangers on the road this weekend.

Goldschmidt went 3-for-5 with a two-run double and a two-run home run during the Yankees' 9-4 loss to the Guardians on Tuesday.

Goldschmidt was responsible for all four runs that the Yankees scored Tuesday, including a two-run homer off Joey Cantillo in the third inning that gave the Bronx Bombers a 2-1 lead. Goldschmidt has logged two home runs over his last four games and is up to seven on the season, which is tied for fourth-most on the Yankees. He is on a seven-game hitting streak, having gone 11-for-31 (.344) with nine RBI in that span.

Schlittler (7-3) took the loss against Cleveland on Tuesday, allowing five runs (four earned) on five hits while striking out three across 4.1 innings. He did not issue a walk.

The four earned runs Schlittler gave up were his most in a start since Sept. 16, and Tuesday's outing was the first time this season that the 25-year-old right-hander did not complete at least five innings. It's still been a strong season for Schlittler, who leads the American League with a 0.86 WHIP (across 76.1 innings) among qualified starters, and he has a 1.89 ERA that is second in the AL to Nick Martinez (1.62). Schlittler will look to bounce back in his next start, which is slated for this weekend at home against the Red Sox.

Palencia tossed a scoreless inning of relief with a strikeout in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Athletics.

Palencia has been good this year with a 2.13 ERA and 13 strikeouts across his 14 appearances, but he's still stuck on three saves and hasn't recorded one since May 14. Chicago is just 4-13 since that date, which has limited the righty's opportunities to close things out. Palencia remains a talented reliever capable of racking up plenty of saves, though he'll need his team to get back on track.

Bachar tossed 2.2 scoreless innings as Tuesday's opener against the Nationals. He struck out three batters and walked one without allowing a hit.

Bachar kicked off a bullpen day for the Marlins in what was the second major-league start of his career, and he answered the call by keeping the Nationals off the board. It was a nice bounce-back performance from his last outing Saturday against the Mets, when he gave up three runs on four hits across two innings. Bachar has a 3.45 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 35:11 K:BB across 31.1 innings this season.

Hoerner went 1-for-2 with two walks, a stolen base and a run scored in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Athletics.

Hoerner has hits in three straight games and six of his last seven as he seems to be rounding back into form after a bit of a slump. The infielder is at his best when he's simply getting on first base due to his speed. Hoerner now has 12 stolen bases this year in 13 attempts, and he has 115 steals since the start of the 2023 season.
