Javier took a no-decision Thursday against Philadelphia, allowing one run on three hits and one walk in six innings. He struck out five.

Javier was dominant at times Thursday, beginning the day with four no-hit innings to flummox the Phillies. Houston continues to keep a close eye on the right-hander's workload, as he's thrown 90 pitches just once in 2026, but he's surrendered a single run in 79-pitch starts to open the month of September. He'll take a 5.50 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 55:23 K:BB through 55.2 innings into his next scheduled appearance at home against the Royals.

Wheeler took a no-decision Thursday against Houston, allowing one run on five hits and two walks in seven innings. He struck out nine.

Wheeler has now fired at least six innings while yielding just one run in three consecutive starts. The right-hander has also tapped back into his best swing-and-miss stuff, tallying nine strikeouts in consecutive starts after fanning six or fewer in six of his prior seven outings. He'll bring an outstanding 3.14 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 172:45 K:BB through 143.1 innings into his next scheduled appearance in Washington against the division-rival Nationals.

Moniak is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest versus the Yankees.

The left-handed-hitting Moniak doesn't always sit against lefty hurlers, but he'll begin Thursday's tilt on the bench as the Yankees send southpaw Max Fried to the bump. Jordan Beck will play right field and bat eighth for the Rockies.

Ullola will serve as the Astros' opening pitcher during Friday's game against the Rays, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Ullola has allowed three earned runs in seven frames in the big leagues, and he's now been granted the opportunity to make his first career MLB start. The 24-year-old righty spent most of his minor-league career as a starter but transitioned to relief this season and hasn't worked more than two innings in an appearance since mid-May, so his outing Friday will likely be a brief one.

Marsh was removed from Thursday's game versus the Astros due to a right foot bruise, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Marsh fouled a ball off his foot during a plate appearance in the bottom of the eighth inning and was replaced on defense before the top of the ninth. The Phillies could send the outfielder for X-rays after the contest. Marsh was 0-for-3 with two strikeouts before departing.

Volpe is starting at second base and batting ninth in Thursday's game versus the Rockies.

Volpe was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre earlier in the day to take the roster spot vacated by Jazz Chisholm (thumb), and he will get the first opportunity to fill in at the keystone. It will be Volpe's first time playing second base at the major-league level, as he began seeing his first reps at the position in August at Triple-A.

Judge is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest against the Rockies.

Judge was pulled after six innings in his first game off the injured list Tuesday and in the eighth inning of his second game back Wednesday. He'll now sit out the series finale versus the Rockies as the Yankees ease him back into a full-time role. Jasson Dominguez will be in right field and bat third for the Bronx Bombers.

Iglesias earned the save Thursday against the Rays, allowing a run on one hit and one walk in the ninth inning. He struck out one.

It didn't appear as though Atlanta would have a save situation until its three-run eighth inning, so Iglesias had to get warmed up quickly for the ninth. The right-hander was scored upon Thursday for the first time since Aug. 16, ending a seven-outing scoreless stretch. He has a 2.83 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 56:17 K:BB over 54 innings, collecting 32 saves in 35 opportunities, as he maintains a strong grip on the closer role.

Bellinger went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 6-1 win over Colorado on Wednesday.

Bellinger capped the scoring in the contest with a solo shot to right field in the eighth inning. Since returning to action Aug. 23 following a nearly month-long stay on the injured list, Bellinger has hit safely in 13 of 16 games, posting a .288/.294/.409 slash line with two homers, 13 runs and 10 RBI during that span. The veteran outfielder has experienced a drop-off in power this year, however, as he's slugged just 13 homers through 118 contests after going deep 29 times across 152 regular-season games last year.

Siri went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 6-4 win over the Red Sox on Wednesday.

Siri hit one of three Angels long balls Wednesday, belting a two-run shot to right-center field in the third inning. That snapped a 27-game homerless stretch for the veteran outfielder, who batted a meager .113 with an ugly 40.3 percent strikeout rate during the power drought. Siri seems to be in a platoon in right field at the moment, as he's started each of Los Angeles' past two contests against lefty starters while sitting in each of the team's past two games against righties.
