Happ went 2-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run and an additional run scored in Thursday's 2-0 win over Atlanta.

Happ snapped an 0-for-11 slump across his last four games with his 10th home run of the season. The power has been notable so far for the veteran outfielder, who hit 23 homers last year in 151 regular-season contests. It's only taken 42 games this year for Happ to get to double figures in long balls, which has resulted in an .857 OPS that would be his best since 2020.

Palencia tossed a scoreless inning of relief to secure the save in Thursday's 2-0 win over Atlanta. He allowed one hit and struck out two.

Palencia allowed his first two runs of the season his last time out Sunday, but he bounced back by recording his third save of the year. Outside of that one hiccup, the flamethrowing righty has been excellent with a 2.25 ERA and nine strikeouts across eight innings of work. Now that he's recovered from an early season lat strain, Palencia appears to once again be locked in as Chicago's closer.

Waguespack signed a minor-league contract with the Brewers on Sunday.

Waguespack was briefly a free agent after being released by the Brewers on May 5, but he quickly returned to the organization. The 32-year-old will likely return to Triple-A Nashville after a stop in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League. Waguespack has produced a 2.40 ERA and 1.20 WHIP with 22 strikeouts over 15 innings in 10 appearances with Nashville this season.

Webb (knee) is on track to return to action after a minimum-length stay on the 15-day injured list, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Webb has been on the IL with right knee bursitis since giving up six runs to San Diego on May 5, but he appears to be trending towards returning to action when first eligible late next week. The right-hander has struggled to a 5.10 ERA and 1.40 WHIP with 27 strikeouts over 30 innings in his last five starts, and it's possible that the two-week break will allow him to hit the reset button mentally and return to form.

Miller (back) is expected to be activated from the 15-day injured list Saturday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Miller has made two appearances with Triple-A Sacramento during his minor-league rehab assignment, combining to pitch two scoreless innings while striking out three batters. The southpaw will make his return to the major-league roster after the minimum 15 days on the injured list, and he should immediately be back in the mix for save chances with San Francisco.

Arroyo has started to get some reps at third base at Triple-A Louisville, Charlie Goldsmith of Fox19.com reports.

Arroyo has always been known as a good fielding prospect, with his primary position still being second base. But the bat has been slow to come around, especially in terms of his power after a shoulder injury wiped out his 2024 campaign. So far at Triple-A this season he's enjoying his best year at the plate, hitting .342/.408/.590 with eight homers in 189 plate appearances. Arroyo turns 23 in August, so he still has plenty of time to develop into his tools.

Martinez was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Thursday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Martinez will head to Salt Lake after spending nearly a week with the major-league roster, going 1-for-3 with a strikeout in his brief stint with the Angels. The team is expected to activate Logan O'Hoppe (wrist) from the 10-day injured list Friday, and he'll replace Martinez with the big-league club.

Dingler went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's 9-4 loss to the Mets.

Dingler extended his hitting streak to four games, and he's batting .313 with two home runs during the stretch. Overall, the Detroit catcher is now up to eight long balls for the season, which puts him on pace to fly past last year's career-high total of 13 homers in 126 regular-season games. Dingler can be a bit streaky at the plate, but he's locked into a starting role and is producing in the power department for fantasy managers.

Hess (undisclosed) was reinstated from the 7-day injured list and pitched 1.1 innings, allowing one run on three hits while striking out one batter with Double-A Somerset on Thursday, Matt Kardos of Double-A Somerset's official site reports.

Hess made his return to action after missing nearly a month with an unspecified injury. The right-hander is considered to be one of the Yankees' top overall prospects, and he'll look to get on a roll with Somerset moving forward.

Workman went 2-for-4 with a double and a three-run home run in Thursday's 9-4 loss to the Mets.

Making the start at second base, Workman went deep in the top of the first inning against Nolan McLean. Workman has only appeared in four games for the Tigers since getting recalled from Triple-A Toledo earlier this month, but he's already gone deep twice and is now sporting a 1.455 OPS. The 26-year-old could push for a larger role if he stays hot, though he also committed his second error of the year Thursday, and he'll need to hold his own defensively to stay in the lineup.
