Raley went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run and an additional run scored in Thursday's 8-3 win over Houston.

The 31-year-old outfielder is surging in the power department, crushing five homers in his last eight games. Raley has firmly worked himself onto fantasy radars, slashing .300/.364/.657 with seven big flies, two doubles, one triple and 20 RBI over his last 26 contests (78 plate appearances) to raise his season OPS to .922. However, the left-handed-hitting Raley has taken a mere four at-bats versus southpaws this year, limiting his volume potential and upside.

Turang went 1-for-2 with a double, one RBI, two runs scored and two walks in Thursday's 7-1 win over San Diego.

Turang has now hit safely in 11 of his last 13 outings and is also riding a four-game RBI streak. The second baseman has been a five-category fantasy producer thus far in 2026, slashing .298/.422/.511 with six home runs, 27 RBI, 33 runs scored and eight stolen bases across 175 plate appearances. Turang's .933 OPS is well on pace to be a career high after posting a career-best .794 mark last during the regular season last year.

Martin went 2-for-4 with a double, three RBI, a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Thursday's 9-1 win over Miami.

Filling in as Minnesota's leadoff man for the injured Byron Buxton (hip) on Thursday, Martin responded with one of his best showings at the plate all season. The outfielder racked up a season-high three RBI, turning in his fourth multi-hit game in his last six outings. Although Martin hasn't offered much in the way of power, he's batting a torrid .333 with one home run, 11 RBI, 22 walks and seven stolen bases over 105 at-bats.

Smith is leading off as the designated hitter Thursday versus the Giants, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

This is the first time in Smith's MLB career that he is hitting leadoff. He is taking over Shohei Ohtani's position and spot in the lineup Thursday while Dalton Rushing starts behind the plate. Smith has an underwhelming .229/.317/.371 slash line with two doubles and a homer through 10 games in May.

Ohtani is not in the lineup Thursday versus the Giants, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

As expected, Ohtani is going a second consecutive game with the bat out of his hands after working exclusively as a pitcher in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Giants. The two-way superstar has not hit up to his standards so far into 2026 with a .797 OPS through 184 plate appearances, and a couple days off could help him to reset at the plate.

Burrows (2-5) took the loss Thursday against the Mariners, allowing seven runs on eight hits and three walks in 5.2 innings. He struck out four.

Burrows was never quite able to settle in Thursday, getting ambushed for three runs in the opening frame before giving up two more in both the fourth and sixth innings. The 26-year-old right-hander served up a pair of home runs for the fourth time already this year, taking a big step back after yielding just five runs in his prior three starts (18 innings) to Thursday. Burrows will bring an underwhelming 5.72 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 46:17 K:BB over 50.1 frames into his next scheduled outing versus Minnesota.

Castillo (1-4) earned the win Thursday against the Astros, allowing three runs on four hits and three walks in 5.2 innings. He struck out six.

Castillo was working on a bounce-back start Thursday, giving up a lone run over his first five frames, but the Astros got to him for two more runs in the sixth inning to make his line more middling. The Mariners might have left the 33-year-old right-hander in the game for a bit too long considering that the hurler tossed a season-high 108 pitches. Castillo has now yielded at least three runs in three straight outings and six of his last eight, posting a disappointing 6.34 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 43:16 K:BB over 44 innings in 2026. He's tentatively lined up to piggyback with Bryce Miller early next week versus the White Sox, which would mark Castillo's first career relief appearance if he works as the secondary pitcher.

Betts is not in the lineup Thursday versus the Giants, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Betts returned from a right oblique strain Monday, which was the first of a four-game series versus the Giants. Playing in the first three games of the series, the shortstop went 2-for-13 with his third home run of the season. Miguel Rojas is instead picking up a start at shortstop in the series finale.

Single-A Augusta placed Essenburg on its 7-day injured list April 14 due to an unspecified injury.

The 19-year-old outfielder saw action in eight games prior to landing on the shelf, hitting .207/.395/.414 with three extra-base hits and a stolen base across 38 plate appearances.

Brewers manager Pat Murphy indicated Thursday that a decision on whether to put Yelich (back) on the 10-day injured list will likely be made Friday, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Yelich missed a second straight start Thursday against the Padres due to a back injury. He's got a long history of back problems, and the Brewers will see how he feels when he gets to the ballpark Friday before they make a decision on his status. If Yelich needs another IL stint -- he just returned from a groin injury Tuesday -- Andrew Vaughn would receive an uptick in playing time.
