Seigler started at second base and went 1-for-4 with a run scored in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Mariners.

Seigler, who had been traveling with the team for its six-game road trip, was officially recalled from Triple-A Worcester earlier in the day and added to the starting lineup. He should be part of the mix at second base along with Andruw Monasterio while Isiah Kiner-Falefa (forearm) is on the 10-day injured list.

The Marlins designated Morel for assignment Sunday.

The Marlins will finally cut Morel loose after he posted a .162/.219/.206 slash line with a 38.4 percent strikeout rate through 73 plate appearances. He joined Miami on a one-year, $2 million contract in December, and he seems likely to clear waivers since the claiming team would be on the hook for his remaining salary.

Lee is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.

Lee will retreat to the bench for the series finale after he went 3-for-13 with a double, an RBI and a run while starting at second base over the past four games. The Tigers will go with Zach McKinstry at the keystone Sunday, but McKinstry can be moved around to other spots on the diamond or in the corner outfield if manager A.J. Hinch is keen on keeping Lee in the lineup on a regular basis while Gleyber Torres (oblique) is on the shelf.

Gonzalez (shoulder) was removed from Double-A Portland's game Saturday after four innings with soreness in his left hip flexor, Josh Kirshenbaum of MLB.com reports.

Gonzalez, who is rehabbing from a left shoulder arthroscopic debridement procedure in early March, was pulled from his rehab assignment and sent back to Boston for testing. He'll remain in Boston over the weekend and be reevaluated Monday. Red Sox interim manager Chad Tracy believes it's not a major issue, and the team is optimistic that the infielder could be activated at some point during a seven-game homestand that begins Thursday.

Gilbert went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Marlins.

Gilbert hit an RBI single in the second inning, lined a double to center field in the fourth and added another base hit in the eighth. The 25-year-old outfielder has appeared in all 17 of the Giants' games in June, during which he's batting .225 with six runs scored, three RBI and three doubles in 51 plate appearances. Overall, he's slashing .234/.310/.370 with 18 runs scored, 15 RBI and three long balls across 173 plate appearances this season.

Vierling is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.

Vierling had covered center field in each of the last three games, but he'll give way to James Outman in the series finale. Though Vierling will likely be prioritized in the lineup ahead of Outman against left-handed pitching, manager A.J. Hinch could lean on the hotter bat among the two players when the Tigers face righties. Since the start of June, Vierling has produced a lowly .143/.162/.314 slash line.

Lee went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Marlins.

Lee recorded his second straight multi-hit effort and tallied multiple extra-base hits for the fourth time this season. The 27-year-old outfielder doubled in the second and eighth innings, scoring both times. He's now slashing .331/.361/.462 with 39 runs scored, 26 RBI, four home runs and four stolen bases across 277 plate appearances on the season.

Woodruff (shoulder) confirmed that he will return from the 15-day injured list Monday to start the Brewers' series opener in Cincinnati, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Manager Pat Murphy had already indicated that Woodruff would rejoin the rotation for that series, and the right-hander is now locked in to start the first contest of the three-game set. Woodruff will be making his first big-league appearance since April 30, when he was lifted from a start after developing shoulder inflammation. Over the course of two rehab starts between the rookie-level Arizona Complex League and High-A Wisconsin, Woodruff was able to get stretched out to 5.1 innings and 82 pitches, so he should be capable of handling something close to a standard workload Monday.

White will start in right field and bat eighth in Sunday's game against the Brewers.

White will draw a fourth consecutive start at a corner-outfield spot, with Atlanta including him in the lineup three times versus lefties and one versus a righty. Though he's cobbled together a middling .228/.280/.391 slash line over 100 plate appearances on the season, White could be headed for something close to a near-everyday role while Atlanta is without star right fielder Ronald Acuna (hamstring).

Smith is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.

Smith will sit for the third time in four games, with all three of his absences coming against left-handed pitching. Drake Baldwin will get a day off from catching Sunday but will stick in the lineup at designated hitter.
