Rodriguez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 10-5 loss to the Yankees.

Rodriguez extended the Mariners' lead to 3-0 in the first inning with a two-out, two-strike blast off Will Warren, his 19th homer this season. The long ball is Rodriguez's only hit across 13 plate appearances in his last three games, though he'd gone 11-for-29 (.379) with a 1.057 OPS in his previous eight contests. Overall, Rodriguez is slashing .257/.324/.428 this year with 55 runs scored, 52 RBI and 15 stolen bases across 475 plate appearances,

Canzone went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 10-5 loss to the Yankees.

Canzone extended Seattle's lead to 4-1 in the fifth inning with his two-out, 397-foot blast off Will Warren, his 19th long ball this season. The homer was Canzone's first since June 28, though he's been swinging the bat better of late, going 5-for-12 in his last three games after going just 5-for-37 (.135) in his previous 10. It's been a breakout year overall for Canzone, who's now batting .254 with an .824 OPS, 50 RBI and 42 runs scored across 353 plate appearances.

Imai did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Giants, allowing three hits and two walks over three scoreless innings. He struck out three.

Making his second appearance in relief for the Astros, Imai managed to work his way through danger -- including a bases-loaded jam in the second inning -- ultimately holding San Francisco scoreless. Imai has now delivered back-to-back scoreless outings out of the bullpen, allowing just three hits while striking out eight over six innings in that span. Overall, his ERA sits at 5.29 this season with a 1.47 WHIP and 80:42 K:BB across 64.2 innings.

Sanchez went 2-for-4 with a home run and an RBI double in Wednesday's 4-3 extra-innings loss to the Padres.

Sanchez opened the scoring in the second inning with a two-out, solo shot off Robbie Ray, his 10th long ball this season. Sanchez, who's gone 5-for-11 with two homers and two doubles in his last five games, got the start behind the plate Wednesday, though he's primarily been limited to starts against left-handed pitchers or pinch-hitting duties. Overall, Sanchez is slashing .230/.379/.473 across 206 plate appearances this year with 31 runs scored and 29 RBI.

Perdomo went 2-for-6 with a run scored in Wednesday's 6-4 loss to the Rockies.

Perdomo was back at shortstop and led off for the Diamondbacks after missing one game due to a knee issue. The multi-hit effort was his sixth in the last 12 contests, during which Perdomo is 18-for-48 (.375) with four extra-base hits (one home run), five RBI and six runs scored.

Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Wednesday that Lawlar (hamstring) could return from the 10-day injured list during their upcoming road trip that begins Friday in Atlanta, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Lawlar completed the seventh game of his rehab assignment with Double-A Amarillo on Wednesday, playing nine innings in center field while going 1-for-5 with a solo home run. He's now played nine-inning games on consecutive days, which is typically a sign of a player nearing activation. After the trip to Atlanta on Friday, the Diamondbacks move on to Boston for a three-game set beginning Monday.

Martinez (elbow) struck out two and over a perfect inning in a rehab appearance for Triple-A Reno on Tuesday.

Martinez moved his rehab up from Single-A Visalia to Reno for the third appearance of his rehab. Between the two stops, the right-hander has struck out five and allowed no hits and one walk over three scoreless frames. Martinez is scheduled for at least one more appearance with Reno on Thursday, per Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com, but Martinez could be activated at some point during the team's road trip, which runs Friday through Wednesday.

Seager went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Angels.

Seager accounted for both of the Rangers' extra-base hits and nearly half of their seven knocks overall. The shortstop has three multi-hit efforts over 11 games since returning from a back injury, batting .293 (12-for-41) in that span. On the year, he's hitting .202 with a .695 OPS, 12 homers, 29 RBI, 34 runs scored, eight doubles and a stolen base over 62 contests.

Quantrill allowed one run on four hits and three walks while striking out six over five innings in a no-decision versus the Angels on Wednesday.

Quantrill did his part, but the Rangers' bullpen couldn't maintain the lead after he exited. The veteran right-hander threw 50 of 85 pitches for strikes in his return to the rotation after serving as a reliever over the weekend. For now, it appears Quantrill will fill the vacated rotation spot of Nathan Eovaldi (elbow). Quantrill has filled a versatile role this year, pitching to a 3.44 ERA with a 1.20 WHIP and 49:22 K:BB over 70.2 innings across 25 appearances (eight starts). Should he stick in the rotation, he's tentatively lined up to make his next appearance at home in a tough matchup versus the Nationals.

Freeman said that he is "just sore" after suffering a number of minor injuries when he fell into the opposing dugout during the eighth inning of Wednesday's 4-2 win over Kansas City , David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports. Freeman added that he's hoping to play in Thursday's series opener against the Brewers.

In a scary incident, Freeman plunged into the dugout while tracking a pop-up into foul territory. Team trainer Thomas Albert said afterward that Freeman has a sore right hand, knee, foot and shoulder, but Freeman downplayed the injuries in his postgame interview. The first baseman seems like he'll lobby to play right away in Thursday's series opener in Los Angeles, though the Dodgers could err on the side of caution and give Freeman a day off if he's experiencing any lingering soreness leading up to game time.
