The Reds transferred Greene (elbow) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Tuesday.

Greene is out for the remainder of the 2026 season and will soon undergo surgery to repair a partially torn UCL in his right elbow, which will keep him on the shelf for most or all of the 2027 campaign. The 27-year-old opened the current season on the IL after requiring a procedure in the spring to remove bone chips from his elbow and ended up making just five starts for the Reds, logging a 6.83 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 33:9 K:BB across 27.2 innings.

Lukes is out of the lineup for Tuesday's matchup against Boston.

After an 0-for-4 performance during Monday's series opener, Lukes will sit out Tuesday's game. Southpaw Patrick Sandoval is the opposing pitcher for Boston, and Lukes has slashed just .111/.216/.133 in 51 plate appearances against left-handed pitching this season. Brett Bateman will take over in right field and bat second for Toronto.

Perez (orbital) was pulled off his rehab assignment Tuesday, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.

Manager A.J. Hinch said Tuesday that Perez's vision is not yet back to normal after initially suffering an orbital fracture June 16 when an exercise band snapped back and hit Perez in the eye. During his rehab assignment, Perez went 0-for-12 at the plate with a sacrifice fly and six strikeouts. It appears he's looking at an extended absence.

Sanchez is absent from Tuesday's lineup against the Red Sox.

With left-hander Patrick Sandoval on the mound for Boston, Sanchez will ride the pine for the second game of a four-game set. Charles McAdoo will move over to left field and lead off for Toronto.

Vest (elbow) underwent hip surgery Tuesday, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Vest had already been ruled out for the remainder of the 2026 season after previously undergoing elbow surgery to address a stress fracture. He's now looking at dual rehabs and is expected to be sidelined for several months. The 31-year-old Vest recorded a 6.08 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 27:10 K:BB across 26.2 innings over 27 appearances this season.

Naylor is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Yankees.

With southpaw Ryan Weathers toeing the slab for the Yankees, the left-handed hitting Naylor will sit out Tuesday's series opener. Weston Wilson will start at first base and bat eighth for Seattle.

Advincula was placed on the 7-day injured list at High-A Lake County on Tuesday due to a right elbow strain.

The 25-year-old outfielder has played just 32 games in the minors this season, nine which have come with Double-A Akron. Across 135 plate appearances in 2026, Advincula has slashed .241/.393/.472 with four home runs, 21 RBI, 27 runs scored, 19 stolen bases and a 22:19 BB:K.

Rodriguez (hip) is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's game against Miami.

Rodriguez will sit out his fourth consecutive game as he continues to manage his left hip discomfort. Henry Davis will once again be behind the plate and bat ninth for Pittsburgh.

The Blue Jays recalled Lee from Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday, per Keegan Matheson of MLB.com.

Just four days after being optioned to Buffalo, Lee will rejoin the big-league club on Tuesday. In five appearances with Toronto this year, the 27-year-old owns a 5.06 ERA, 1.50 WHIP, 2:5 K:BB and one save through 5.1 innings. The Blue Jays sent Jameson Taillon (forearm) to the 15-day IL on Tuesday, clearing a spot on the active roster for Lee.

Toronto placed Taillon on the 15-day injured list with right forearm tendinitis on Tuesday, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Taillon completed just four innings Monday against Boston before being removed with discomfort in his right forearm. The 34-year-old will head to the IL for the second time this season and first time as a member of the Blue Jays. The right-hander made just two starts for Toronto since being dealt to the club on Aug. 2 from the Cubs. The Blue Jays recalled Chase Lee from Triple-A Buffalo to take Taillon's spot on the active roster.
