Diaz earned a save against the Royals on Monday, striking out one batter over one scoreless inning.

Diaz entered Monday having blown both of his save chances and allowing four runs over two innings across his past three outings. Manager Dave Roberts continued to stick with him, and the veteran closer came through with a clean inning on 12 pitches (eight strikes). It was just the third time through 13 appearances with Los Angeles that Diaz has completed an outing without allowing any hits or walks. He's posted just six saves in nine chances while compiling an ugly 9.82 ERA and 2.27 WHIP over 13 appearances, but the Dodgers seem intent on allowing their prized free-agent acquisition to work through his struggles.

Skubal allowed three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out six batters over five innings in a no-decision against Kansas City on Monday.

It was a grind for Skubal in his first home start at Dodger Stadium, as he needed 95 pitches to get through five frames. The star southpaw gave up three runs over his first three innings but at least managed to close out his outing with two scoreless frames. Skubal did record a healthy 14 whiffs and six punchouts, so the outing wasn't entirely mediocre. He's allowed five runs across 11 innings while posting a 12:4 K:BB over his first two starts with the Dodgers and is lined up to next take the mound at home in a tough matchup versus Milwaukee.

Merrill went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run Monday in a 3-2 win against the Brewers.

Merrill came up big in the seventh inning, belting a two-run shot to center field to turn a one-run deficit into a one-run lead. It was the third straight game with a long ball for the center fielder, and the hit extended his on-base streak to 10 games spanning the entirety of August. Merrill is slashing .359/.390/.744 during that stretch with four homers, nine runs, 13 RBI and two stolen bases. His .712 season OPS remains mildly disappointing, but he's at a much more impressive 1.038 OPS across 24 contests since the All-Star break.

France went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in a 3-2 victory against Milwaukee on Monday.

France accounted for San Diego's first run with a solo blast to left field in the second inning. He added a single in the seventh and was on base when Jackson Merrill followed with a two-run homer to provide the winning margin. France continued his strong second half, posting his 12th multi-hit performance through 24 games. He's slashing an impressive .344/.390/.611 with six home runs, 18 RBI and 17 runs during that stretch.

Yelich went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in a loss to the Padres on Monday.

Yelich provided all of Milwaukee's scoring with his two-run blast in the second inning. It was his first long ball over his past 14 contests and just his second across 28 games since Independence Day. Yelich has been quiet on the power front this season -- after mashing 29 homers in the regular season last year, his most since 2019, he's gone deep just eight times through 82 contests in 2026. That's led to a .694 OPS, which is on pace to be the lowest mark of his career.

Henderson (6-2) took the loss against San Diego on Monday, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk while striking out seven batters over 6.1 innings.

Henderson gave up all three runs on homers -- a Ty France solo shot in the second inning and a Jackson Merrill two-run blast in the seventh. Though that was enough to hand him the loss, the right-hander still notched his second straight quality start and extended his streak of outings with seven or more punchouts to four starts. Henderson has posted a 2.57 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 35:4 K:BB over 28 innings spanning five starts since the All-Star break to strengthen his hold on a spot in the Brewers' rotation. He's tentatively slated to make his next start on the road against the Dodgers.

Miller earned a save against the Brewers on Monday, issuing one walk and striking out one batter over one scoreless inning.

Miller was handed the ball in the top of the ninth inning with San Diego nursing a one-run lead. He retired the first two batters he faced before issuing a walk to William Contreras. Miller got out of the frame when pinch runner Brandon Lockridge was thrown out trying to steal second base. The All-Star closer posted his 30th save of the campaign, tied for second most in the majors behind Bryan Baker (34). It's the first time in Miller's career that he's reached the 30-save mark.

Mize tossed six innings in a no-decision against Milwaukee on Monday, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out six batters.

Mize was hammered by Arizona for eight runs over 3.1 innings in his San Diego debut last Wednesday, but he was much better in his second start with his new club. The right-hander gave up a Christian Yelich two-run homer in the second inning, but that was the only time the Brewers were able to score against him. Mize induced just six swinging strikes, but he still managed a respectable six punchouts and recorded his ninth quality start of the campaign. He's being asked to help stabilize a shaky Padres rotation and is lined up to make his next start on the road against the Guardians.

Trout went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and three walks in a loss to the Rangers on Monday.

Trout gave the Angels an early lead with a 418-foot solo homer to center field in the first inning. However, that was the only run his team scored despite Trout reaching three more times (all on walks). The long ball was just the second over 22 games since the All-Star break for the star outfielder, who is batting a meager .237 during that stretch. Still, Trout is up to 20 home runs on the campaign, marking the 11th time he's reached that mark in his storied career.

Detmers allowed one run on three hits and four walks while striking out six batters over six innings in a no-decision against the Angels on Monday.

Though Detmers issued four free passes, he had pretty good control overall, throwing 55 of 88 pitches for strikes. The southpaw didn't give up any extra-base hits and recorded his ninth quality start of the campaign. Detmers still hasn't earned a win since June 16, but this was a promising outing after he had posted a 5.05 ERA across his previous eight starts. He's lined up to make his next appearance at home versus Kansas City.
