Munoz allowed a hit and struck out one without walking a batter in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Orioles.

Munoz recently battled back tightness following a poor outing Sunday versus the Nationals. He was cleared to pitch earlier Tuesday and converted his 11th save of the season with 17 pitches (13 strikes). The right-hander has had a poor season with a 5.68 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 38:11 K:BB through 25.1 innings, which also includes five blown saves. However, his inconsistent performance hasn't cost him the closer job yet, and that's unlikely to change immediately since Matt Brash (lat) landed on the injured list last week. If Munoz hits another rough patch, Jose Ferrer, Gabe Speier or Eduard Bazardo would likely be candidates to challenge for save chances.

Gilbert (5-4) allowed one run on two hits, a walk and a hit batsman while striking out 10 over seven innings to earn the win over the Orioles on Tuesday.

Gilbert had a shaky first inning, in which he allowed the run and three baserunners. He retired 16 in a row in the middle of his start before plunking Pete Alonso in the seventh inning. After some iffy work early in the season, Gilbert is 3-0 with just five runs allowed across 30 innings over his last five starts. Overall, he has a 3.43 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 92:20 K:BB through 86.2 innings over 15 starts. Gilbert is projected for a favorable home matchup against the Red Sox over the weekend since the Mariners are opting to piggyback Bryce Miller and Luis Castillo on Friday.

Torres (side) didn't play in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Astros.

The veteran second baseman sustained an apparent left side injury during Monday's contest, and it's already cost him one game. During an appearance on MLB Network Radio on Tuesday, Tigers manager A.J. Hinch said, "I'm bracing for this being an issue, but I don't know. Hopefully it's just a little cramp or something that caused an issue but that's a total guess," per Jeremy Otto of 97.1 The Ticket. Given the lack of clarity regarding the injury, Torres should be considered day-to-day heading into Wednesday's series finale in Houston, though it wouldn't be surprising if he sits for a second straight game, and perhaps more beyond that.

Cole (2-1) earned the win Tuesday against the White Sox, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out six over six innings.

Andrew Benintendi took Cole deep in the first inning to give Chicago an early lead, but the right-hander quickly settled in and retired 13 consecutive batters through the middle innings. He ran into trouble in the sixth when Luisangel Acuna's single with the bases loaded brought home a run, but Cole escaped the jam and stranded three runners to survive the inning. The former AL Cy Young winner threw 90 pitches for the first time this season Tuesday and has now recorded three quality starts in five outings since returning. Cole continues to build momentum, posting a 2.57 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 24:8 K:BB across 28 innings. He is scheduled to make his next start at home against the Reds.

Brown completed 5.2 innings against Detroit on Tuesday, giving up one run on three hits and three walks while striking out seven batters in a no-decision.

Brown logged his first MLB game action since March 31 after recovering from a shoulder injury. The right-hander didn't seem to have much rust, logging 12 whiffs and seven punchouts while tossing 92 pitches over 5.2 frames. Brown didn't give up any extra-base hits, and the lone run he allowed came on a walk, two productive outs and a single in the second inning. Fantasy managers who roster Brown should be plenty happy about the hurler's return outing, especially given his near-full workload. Brown should be good to go with minimal restrictions moving forward, and he's projected to make his next appearance on the road versus Toronto.

Manager Dave Roberts said that Ohtani will work only as a pitcher Wednesday against the Rays, Sonja Chen of MLB.com reports.

After supplying the Dodgers' lone run via a solo homer in Tuesday's 1-0 win over Tampa Bay, Ohtani will get a break from his duties as a DH and work solely as Los Angeles' starting pitcher Wednesday. The two-way star gave up a season-high four runs (three earned) during his most recent start against Pittsburgh but still owns an incredible 1.06 ERA and 0.84 WHIP through 67.2 innings on the year.

Young (5-2) allowed three runs on four hits and four walks while striking out two over six innings to take the loss versus the Mariners on Tuesday.

Young had his best outing of the season against the Mariners in his last start, but he wasn't quite as good in the rematch in Seattle. It was still a fifth straight quality start for the right-hander, who has given the Orioles good pitching more often than not. He's now at a 3.18 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 44:23 K:BB over 62.1 innings across 11 starts this season. Young's lack of strikeouts limits his usefulness in fantasy, but he's allowed three runs or less in all but one of his starts. He's projected for a tough road start versus the Dodgers in his next outing.

Rumfield went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 5-2 win over the Cubs on Tuesday.

Rumfield gave the Rockies their first lead with a two-run shot in the fourth inning. The long ball was his third over a red-hot seven-game span during which Rumfield has batted .357 (10-for-28) with eight extra-base hits and seven RBI. The hot stretch has pushed his season OPS up to .821, third best among qualified MLB rookies.

Hill earned a save against the Cubs on Tuesday by tossing a perfect ninth inning.

With Colorado up by three runs heading into the bottom of the ninth inning, manager Warren Schaeffer turned to Hill to close things out. The right-hander did so without any drama, setting the side down in order on 12 pitches. It was the first save of Hill's career in his 67th outing, all of which have been out of the bullpen. Hill does have a career-high 11 holds on the campaign, so he's been given more high-leverage duties this year. The back of Colorado's bullpen is highly unsettled, and no pitcher on the squad has more than four saves this season, so it's certainly possible that Hill will get more save chances moving forward given his effectiveness Tuesday.

Feltner allowed two runs on six hits and three walks while striking out seven batters over 4.2 innings in a no-decision against the Cubs on Tuesday.

Feltner fell behind quickly, giving up a homer to Pete Crow-Armstrong to begin the bottom of the first inning. He yielded another run in the second but kept Chicago off the scoreboard thereafter. Feltner's offense got him three runs and the lead in the top of the fourth frame, but the right-hander was pulled with two outs in the bottom of the inning having thrown 104 pitches. That was easily a season-high mark -- Feltner had previously topped out at 87 pitches in a start against the Dodgers on April 18. Part of the reason for the veteran hurler's elevated pitch count was that the Cubs had trouble putting the ball in play against him, as Chicago batters swung and missed 13 times and fouled off 21 pitches, though that at least helped him to a season-best seven punchouts. Feltner will carry a 5.05 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 33:16 K:BB through 41 innings into his next start, which is lined up to come at home versus Boston.
