Durant suffered a left calf strain in Friday's 114-113 win over the Mavericks and will be re-evaluated in two weeks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. Durant was on the floor for the final minutes of Friday's win, but he was apparently playing with a compromised calf during that stretch. Given that he'll merely be re-evaluated in two weeks, Durant is likely to miss additional time beyond that, given that he'll presumably require a ramp-up period before being cleared for game action. For whatever length of time Durant is sidelined, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal will be the two focal points in Phoenix's offense. Durant's absence could also free up more minutes for Grayson Allen, Royce O'Neale and Ryan Dunn (ankle).

Durant ended with 26 points (8-14 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 7-7 FT), five rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal in 37 minutes during Friday's 114-113 victory over the Mavericks. Durant was extremely efficient Friday and carried the Suns to a tight win over the reigning Western Conference champions. Even though Durant is not getting any younger, he's becoming an even more efficient scoring option for the Suns. He's recorded at least 25 points in seven of his nine appearances this season while shooting an impressive 55.3 percent from the field, including 42.9 percent from deep.

Durant accumulated 32 points (13-23 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 2-3 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 115-112 victory over the Heat. Durant notched his fifth 30-point performance in eight games this season, implying that, even at age 37, he's still one of the NBA's top scoring threats. His 32 points marked a game high, though he did also log the most turnovers in the game. Durant has been on a heater to start the season, logging 27.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.2 combined steals-plus-blocks per game on 55/42/81 shooting splits.

Durant registered 35 points (14-20 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, six assists and one block in 39 minutes during Monday's 118-116 victory over Philadelphia. The 36-year-old forward led all scorers on the night, and Durant's layup with 24 seconds left in the fourth quarter ended up being the game-winning bucket. He's hit for 30-plus points in four of the Suns' first seven games this season, and Durant is averaging his usual elite numbers with 27.1 points, 6.6 boards, 3.4 assists, 2.4 threes and 1.4 blocks per game while shooting 54.8 percent from the floor, 43.6 percent from beyond the arc and 82.2 percent from the charity stripe.

Durant produced 21 points (7-16 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), nine rebounds and two assists in 38 minutes during Saturday's 103-97 victory over the Trail Blazers. Durant bounced back from the season-low 18-point mark he delivered in the win over the Clippers on Thursday, and he remains a consistent offensive option in a star-studded offensive scheme that also includes Bradley Beal and Devin Booker. That said, even though a two-game stretch is not enough to draw conclusions, Durant has failed to reach the 25-point mark in his last two contests after doing so in his first four. Even if there's a slight decrease in the scoring numbers, Durant remains one of the most efficient scorers in the league based on a volume perspective. He's averaging 25.8 points per game while shooting 51.9 percent from the field in his first six contests.
