The Clippers recalled Ingram (Achilles) from the G League's San Diego Clippers on Sunday. Ingram appears to be making steady progress after missing the opening run of the 2026-27 season through a partial Achilles tear, although it remains unclear when he'll be an option again for the Clippers and how quickly he'll regain playing time. Having worked with the G League squad Sunday, the versatile man is back with the main team, and his eventual return to action will restore a major piece of the rotation. However, while Ingram remains out, Darius Garland and Kris Dunn look set to carry most of the workload in upcoming contests.

Ingram (Achilles) is making progress but is set to miss at least one more week, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports. Ingram has yet to make his season debut while recovering from a partially torn Achilles, though he's seemingly getting closer to a return to action. In the meantime, Gradey Dick and Kobe Sanders will likely continue seeing increased burn.

Ingram won't be ready for the start of the season due to a partially torn Achilles, per Joey Linn of SI.com. The Clippers learned about the injury this summer, though it's unclear exactly how far along Ingram is in his recovery. The star forward's timeline for a return is unclear, clouding his fantasy outlook in the meantime. Darius Garland should take on all the usage he can handle in Ingram's stead, while Kris Dunn and Max Strus could have additional streaming appeal early in the year.

Ingram had surgery on his foot/heel during the offseason, ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported Tuesday. "We're going to hear at Media Day where he's at with his heel," Windhorst added. This update is certainly ominous, and there's been no mention of this by the Clippers. Fantasy managers will want to monitor this closely in case it impacts Ingram's availability for Opening Night.

The Clippers and Raptors both agreed Monday to finalize the trade sending Kawhi Leonard to Toronto for Ingram (heel), Gradey Dick, two unprotected first-round picks, one first-round pick swap and two second-rounders, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. The deal, which was agreed to in principle June 30, was held up over two months due to the league's investigation involving salary-cap circumvention by Leonard and the Clippers. Ingram underwent surgery in early May to address ongoing right heel pain, so his health will be worth monitoring when he reports to Los Angeles' training camp later in September.
