Mann logged 12 points (4-8 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, seven assists and two steals across 27 minutes during Friday's 119-111 loss to the Mavericks. Mann put together a strong performance, scoring in double figures for a second straight game while leading the Nets in assists. He's reached the seven-assist mark twice so far this year, also dishing out seven dimes Nov. 18 against Boston.

Mann (undisclosed) started the second half of Thursday's game against the Jazz, per the television broadcast. Mann went to the locker room during the first half, but he quickly gained clearance to return to Thursday's matchup. He was on the floor with the starters for the beginning of the third quarter.

Mann went back to the locker room Thursday with an undisclosed injury, Sharif Phillips-Keaton of USA Today reports. Mann collided with a Jazz player and landed hard on the floor, and while he stayed in the game to shoot his free throws, he went straight back to the locker room after that. Mann just returned from a two-game absence due to a rib issue, but it's currently unclear if he aggravated that injury.

Mann (ribs) is listed as available for Thursday's game against the Jazz. Mann will return Thursday after missing the past two games with right rib soreness. He is averaging 6.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists over his last five contests, but with no Cam Thomas (hamstring), Michael Porter (back) or Drake Powell (knee), Mann should handle a larger offensive load among Brooklyn's thin roster.
