Brunson appeared to tweak his right knee during the first quarter and later twisted an ankle in the second, but he powered through both issues and said afterward that he'll be fine. The three-time All-Star delivered in the clutch for New York, scoring 13 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter, including a tough 14-foot pull-up jumper with 30 seconds remaining to help seal the victory. The Knicks are now 6-0 this postseason when Brunson scores at least 30 points.

Brunson (leg) has returned to Wednesday's Game 1 of the Finals versus San Antonio, Ramona Shelbourne of ESPN.com reports. Brunson briefly exited the game after Harrison Barnes fell back into his right leg, but after getting a quick checkup in the locker room, he returned to the game. It appears Brunson has avoided a serious injury.

Brunson (undisclosed) exited Game 1 of the NBA Finals versus San Antonio on Wednesday, Chris Mannix of SI reports. Brunson exited the contest in the first quarter. Although nothing official has been reported regarding his condition, he left the game after appearing to tweak his right knee. If he doesn't return, Jose Alvarado could see more action the rest of the way.

Despite missing all four of his three-point attempts, Brunson led the Knicks in scoring, and he finished with a plus-15 differential in the win. The Knicks have gone on a month-long winning streak this postseason and are now just the 10th team in NBA history to win 10 straight playoff games. Of the previous nine teams to accomplish this feat, five went on to take home the Larry O'Brien trophy.

Brunson racked up 14 assists Thursday, the most he has recorded thus far during the playoffs. Fresh off a 38-point performance in Game 1, Brunson opted to get others involved, leading to a comfortable victory. In his past 10 appearances, Brunson has averaged 27.4 points, 6.7 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.2 three-pointers. Now leading the series 2-0, New York will head to Cleveland looking to assert its dominance on the road.
