  • Melton closed Sunday's 123-91 win over the Bulls with 13 points (4-9 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-4 FT), one rebound, one assist and two steals over 17 minutes. Melton looked great in his second game of the season, bringing tough energy on defense, and he wasn't shy about getting up his shot. Melton spent time operating as the Warriors' primary playmaker in the second unit, so it looks like he'll have a sizable role with the Warriors, who've been playing without Stephen Curry (quadriceps).

  • Melton (knee) isn't listed on the Warriors' injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Bulls. After sitting out Saturday's win over Cleveland, Melton will suit up Sunday. During his season debut in Philadelphia on Thursday, Melton posted 14 points, three assists, two steals and a block in 21 minutes off the bench. With Stephen Curry (quadriceps) sidelined, Melton has a clear path to consistent minutes in Golden State's rotation when available.

  • Melton (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's game in Cleveland. Melton returned from a year-long absence following knee surgery Thursday, but with Saturday's game coming as the first in a back-to-back set, the Warriors' medical staff will hold him out for rest. The guard should be considered probable for Sunday's game in Chicago until the Warriors provide another update on his status.

  • Melton (left knee injury management) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against Cleveland. Melton made his season debut Thursday and played 21 minutes. The Warriors are beginning a back-to-back set Saturday night, and it would be surprising to see Melton available for both contests. If he can't play Saturday, Will Rihard and Gary Payton would likely see an uptick in minutes.

  • Melton (knee) is off the injury report for Thursday's game against the 76ers. The stage is set for Melton to make his season debut following ACL surgery. The veteran guard is likely to have heavy restrictions Thursday. Once Melton is back up to speed, Will Richard's streaming appeal is likely to take a hit.
