McBride (ankle) has progressed to solo on-court work but has yet to practice in a group setting, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports Friday. McBride hasn't played since Dec. 7 due to a sprained left ankle and doesn't appear to be nearing a return in the immediate future. The 25-year-old guard can be considered week-to-week until the Knicks offer another update on his recovery. With McBride sidelined, Tyler Kolek and Jordan Clarkson will likely continue to see increased playing time.

McBride is out for Friday's game against the 76ers with a sprained left ankle. McBride is set to be sidelined for a fourth consecutive game Friday. Sunday's matchup with the Heat marks his next chance to suit up. McBride's vacated minutes should be divvied up among Jordan Clarkson and Tyler Kolek.

Head coach Mike Brown told reporters Tuesday that McBride is undergoing further tests on his injured ankle, but Stefan Bondy of The New York Post relays that McBride may have suffered a high-ankle sprain during the Knicks' win over the Magic on Sunday. McBride was already diagnosed with an ankle sprain and ruled out for Tuesday's NBA Cup quarterfinals matchup against the Raptors, but the injury may be more severe than initially thought. If further tests reveal a high-ankle sprain, that would likely make McBride week-to-week, which would open the door for Jordan Clarkson to take on an expanded role in the Knicks' rotation.

McBride (ankle) is out for Tuesday's game against the Raptors. A left ankle sprain forced McBride to exit Sunday's win over the Magic, and the guard will require at least one game to recuperate. The Knicks don't have another contest scheduled until Dec. 18 in Indiana. McBride's absence should allow Jordan Clarkson to make his way into the streaming mix in most fantasy leagues.

McBride (leg) exited to the locker room in the third quarter of Sunday's 106-100 win over the Magic and didn't return. He ended with four points (1-7 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two assists, one rebound and one block in 21 minutes. McBride limped to the locker room near the end of the third and was unable to return due to an apparent leg injury. His status will be worth monitoring ahead of Tuesday's NBA Cup game against the Raptors, and if he's unable to suit up, Jordan Clarkson and Tyler Kolek will likely see increased minutes.
