  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Likely to play Thursday

Embiid is listed as probable for Thursday's game against the Heat due to right knee injury management and right shin soreness, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.

Embiid has been tending to knee and shin injuries, issues that caused him to miss five consecutive games before playing 26 minutes against the Pacers on Tuesday. While he's not fully recovered, the veteran center is expected to play through the injury Thursday. Embiid logged 27 points, six rebounds and five assists against Indiana.

  • Pascal Siakam PF | IND

Pacers' Pascal Siakam: Unlikely to play Thursday

Siakam (wrist) is listed as doubtful for Thursday's game against the Hornets.

It appears as though Siakam will miss a second consecutive game as he recovers from a left wrist sprain. The doubtful tag for the Pacers' last two games -- rather than being ruled out from the get-go -- means that the veteran forward can be considered day-to-day. Ben Sheppard figures to remain in the starting lineup for Thursday's contest if Siakam doesn't play.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Nursing foot injury

Alexander-Walker is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Wizards due to a left foot sprain, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

Alexander-Walker may have picked up the injury during Atlanta's 119-98 win over Washington, which puts him in jeopardy of being sidelined for Thursday's rematch. Jalen Johnson (hip) and Zaccharie Risacher (hip) are both also listed as questionable, so there are opportunities for more playing time for Corey Kispert, Gabe Vincent and Jonathan Kuminga, depending on who ends up being available.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Questionable for Thursday

Risacher is questionable for Thursday's game against the Wizards due to a right hip contusion, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

Jalen Johnson (hip) is also questionable for Thursday's game, and if both these guys are forced to the sidelines, Jonathan Kuminga could be asked to play big minutes in a starting role. Check back for another update on Risacher closer to Thursday's tip.

  • Jalen Johnson SF | ATL

Hawks' Jalen Johnson: Questionable for Thursday

Johnson (hip) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Wizards, Lauren L. Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Johnson injured his hip during Tuesday's win over the Wizards, which resulted in more minutes for Zaccharie Risacher and Jonathan Kuminga. We'll have a better idea on Johnson's status based on his activity level at Thursday's shootaround, but if he's held out of that game, Kuminga would make for an attractive target in daily fantasy leagues.

  • Gary Harris SG | MIL

Bucks' Gary Harris: Slides out of rotation

Harris (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Tuesday in the Bucks' 128-117 win over the Heat.

Harris has seen action in just one of the Bucks' last four games, with his lone appearance being a seven-minute cameo in garbage time during Sunday's 122-94 loss to the Raptors. The Bucks have elected to phase Harris out of the rotation in order to open up more opportunities for Ousmane Dieng, whom the team acquired at the trade deadline earlier this month.

  • Pete Nance PF | MIL

Bucks' Pete Nance: Drops out of rotation

Nance (coach's decision) went unused off the bench in Tuesday's 128-117 win over the Heat.

Nance had appeared in each of the Bucks' previous 16 games, but after logging just five minutes two days earlier in a blowout loss to the Raptors, the third-year big man dropped out of head coach Doc Rivers' rotation entirely Tuesday. The 26-year-old's playing-time outlook probably won't improve in the near future, as the impending return of Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) will leave even fewer minutes available in the frontcourt.

  • James Harden PG | CLE

Cavaliers' James Harden: Plans to play through thumb injury

Harden plans to play through his fractured right thumb, but he remains questionable for Wednesday's game in Milwaukee, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Harden suffered a non-displaced fracture to the right thumb on his non-shooting hand during Tuesday's win over the Knicks, but after visiting with a hand specialist Wednesday afternoon, it was determined that surgery will not be required to repair the injury. He may still skip Wednesday's game to allow some swelling in his thumb to go down, but this isn't expected to devolve into a long-term absence for Harden.

  • Nikola Jovic PF | MIA

Heat's Nikola Jovic: Ruled out for Thursday

Jovic (back) won't play Thursday in Philadelphia.

Jovic is set to miss his third straight game Thursday, and for now, he should be considered highly questionable for Saturday's matchup with the Rockets. Pelle Larsson will continue to pick up the slack in Jovic's absence.

  • Heat's Davion Mitchell: Iffy for Thursday

Mitchell (illness) is questionable for Thursday's game against the 76ers.

Mitchell was able to play through a questionable tag Tuesday against the Bucks, finishing with nine points, eight assists and six rebounds in 28 minutes. If he's unable to play Thursday, the Heat will likely lean on Kasparas Jakucionis and Dru Smith.
