76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Exits to locker room

Edgecombe (undisclosed) exited to the locker room in the first quarter of Game 2 against the Celtics on Tuesday, Ky Carlin of USA Today reports.

Edgecombe took a hard fall and briefly stayed in the game before limping to the locker room. The rookie can be considered questionable to return until more information comes to light.

  • Jordan Goodwin SG | PHO

Suns' Jordan Goodwin: Iffy for Wednesday

Goodwin (calf) is listed as questionable for Game 2 against the Thunder on Wednesday.

Goodwin exited Sunday's Game 1 loss to the Thunder due to left calf soreness and is in danger of missing Game 2. If the 27-year-old is ultimately ruled out, Ryan Dunn, Royce O'Neale and Haywood Highsmith would be candidates for increased playing time.

  • Grayson Allen SG | PHO

Suns' Grayson Allen: Questionable for Wednesday

Allen (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Game 2 against the Thunder on Wednesday.

Allen was also listed as questionable ahead of each of Phoenix's last two matchups before being upgraded to available, though he didn't see the floor in either contest. Even if the veteran wing is cleared to play Wednesday, it's not guaranteed he'll see significant minutes.

  • Ron Harper Jr. SF | BOS

Celtics' Ron Harper: Upgraded to available

Harper (ankle) is available for Game 2 on Tuesday against the 76ers, per Justin Turpin of WEEI.com.

Harper is available off the bench for the Celtics, putting the team at full strength. The 26-year-old logged just four minutes in Boston's Game 1 blowout victory over Philadelphia, so Harper is unlikely to see significant playing time Tuesday.

  • Jonathan Isaac PF | ORL

Magic's Jonathan Isaac: Doubtful for Game 2

Isaac (knee) is doubtful for Game 2 on Wednesday against the Pistons.

Isaac, who's limited to non-contact drills at practice, doesn't appear to be ready for game action amid his recovery from a left knee sprain. His expected absence Wednesday should at least keep Jamal Cain in the mix but will otherwise have a minimal impact on Orlando's frontcourt rotation.

  • Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Moves outside of rotation

Strawther (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Monday in the Nuggets' 119-114 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 2 of a first-round playoff series.

Strawther appeared in each of the Nuggets' final 11 regular-season games and averaged 8.7 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.5 three-pointers and 1.3 assists in 15.5 minutes per contest over that stretch. However, head coach David Adelman has dropped the third-year wing from Denver's rotation for both of the team's first two postseason contests. Unless Denver loses one of its key players to injury at some point during its playoff run, Strawther's opportunities could be largely limited to garbage-time scenarios.

  • Austin Reaves SG | LAL

Lakers' Austin Reaves: Could return later in quarterfinals

ESPN's Shams Charania reported Tuesday on NBA Today that Reaves (oblique) is on track to return late during the first round of the Western Conference playoffs against the Rockets.

Reaves, who is further along than Luka Doncic (hamstring) in their respective rehab processes, has begun 1-on-1 on-court work but still needs to progress to 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 activities. Reaves might be more likely to return if the Lakers advance to the second round, but it sounds like the door is open for him to get back into the lineup later this series. In the meantime, Luke Kennard and Marcus Smart will try to help pick up the slack in the backcourt.

  • Luka Doncic PG | LAL

Lakers' Luka Doncic: Status in doubt for quarterfinals

ESPN's Shams Charania reported Tuesday on NBA Today that the Lakers are not expecting Doncic (hamstring) to return during the first round of the Western Conference playoffs versus Houston.

Although it's not necessarily an unexpected update, it sounds like the Lakers will have to advance to the second round in order for Doncic to see the court again in 2025-26. With the superstar guard continuing to nurse a Grade 2 left hamstring strain, LeBron James should remain the focal point of Los Angeles' offense while Luke Kennard takes on an expanded role.

  • Suns' Mark Williams: Iffy for Game 2

Head coach Jordan Ott expects Williams (foot) to be listed as questionable for Game 2 on Wednesday versus the Thunder, per Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic.

Williams is considered day-to-day with left foot soreness, which has cost him each of Phoenix's past two contests. The fourth-year big man will presumably be re-evaluated closer to Wednesday's tipoff. If Williams is unable to play, Oso Ighodaro would likely play the bulk of the center minutes while Khaman Maluach handles the backup role.

  • Jonathan Isaac PF | ORL

Magic's Jonathan Isaac: Limited to non-contact drills

Isaac (knee) remains limited to non-contact drills at practice, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Based on this update, Isaac appears likely to miss his 21st straight contest in Wednesday's Game 2 against Detroit. Isaac is making progress, but the Magic aren't ready to offer a clear timetable.
