Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Fares well in Game 1
Conley amassed 12 points (4-8 FG, 4-7 3Pt), two rebounds and six assists across 24 minutes during Monday's 104-102 victory over the Spurs in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
With Donte DiVincenzo (Achilles) out and Anthony Edwards playing through a knee injury, Conley is likely to maintain a key role for the duration of the postseason. Over his last two outings, he's posted averages of 9.5 points, 4.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds in 25.0 minutes per contest.

Keldon Johnson SF | SA
Spurs' Keldon Johnson: Chips in 11 points in loss
Johnson accumulated 11 points (5-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist across 24 minutes during Monday's 104-102 loss to Minnesota in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
The 11 points and 24 minutes were both postseason highs for Johnson. Overall, the 2025-26 Sixth Man of the Year has averaged only 7.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 19.7 minutes per game over six outings in the 2026 playoffs, taking a back seat to Dylan Harper as San Antonio's sixth man.

76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Quiet in Game 1

The 76ers were blown out of this contest, and fatigue may have played a role after a grueling seven-game series against Boston. Through eight playoff games, Edgecombe is shooting 42.2 percent from the field and 31.5 percent from three with averages of 14.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.0 steals in 37.1 minutes per contest.

Ariel Hukporti C | NY
Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Pulls down nine boards off bench
Hukporti supplied five points (2-2 FG, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds and two blocks in 17 minutes during Monday's 137-98 victory over the 76ers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Karl-Anthony Towns and Mitchell Robinson got into foul trouble in the first half, allowing Hukporti to see his most playing time of the postseason in a lopsided win. Hukporti has appeared in just four of New York's past seven contests, averaging 2.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 9.3 minutes per game in the 2026 playoffs.

Spurs' Julian Champagnie: Chips in 17 in Monday's loss
Champagnie finished Monday's 104-102 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals with 17 points (7-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt) and seven rebounds across 32 minutes.
After erupting for 19 points in the Spurs' series-clinching win over Portland last Tuesday, Champagnie was productive again to begin the second round, albeit in a losing effort. The fourth-year forward has drained multiple three-pointers in all six of San Antonio's playoff games so far, averaging 11.3 points, 5.3 boards, 2.7 threes, 1.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 29.0 minutes over that span while shooting 58.5 percent from the floor and 57.1 percent from beyond the arc.

The second-year guard continues to look good in his first career trip to the postseason. Castle has delivered at least 15 points and five assists in six straight games for the Spurs, averaging 19.3 points, 5.8 dimes, 4.2 boards, 2.3 threes and 1.0 combined steals and blocks.

The 18 points led the Spurs on a night when the team shot just 27.8 percent from three-point range. Harper has scored in double digits in four of the last five games of San Antonio's playoff run, averaging 15.0 points, 3.8 boards, 2.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.2 threes over that stretch in 26.6 minutes from the second unit.

While he fell short of his second straight double-double, Gobert's four steals and five combined steals and blocks were both highs for this postseason, and he recorded double-digit rebounds for the fifth time. The veteran center is averaging 7.6 points, 10.6 boards, 3.0 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.1 blocks through seven playoff contests heading into Game 2 on Wednesday.

Johni Broome PF | PHI
76ers' Johni Broome: Makes garbage-time cameo
Broome played the final 4:33 of Monday's 137-98 loss to the Knicks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, recording zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one rebound.
The rookie second-round pick out of Auburn underwent a successful partial meniscectomy on his right knee Feb. 28 and was sidelined for about seven weeks before being cleared to play in advance of the 76ers' first-round playoff matchup with the Celtics. He didn't make any appearances during Philadelphia's seven-game series victory, but after Monday's series opener with the Knicks devolved into a blowout in the second half, Broome was able to make his postseason debut in garbage time. Broome will continue to be held out of Philadelphia's rotation in more competitive contests for the duration of the 76ers' playoff run.
