Week 3 of the NFL schedule brings plenty of tough questions for owners as they set their Fantasy football lineups. Should you go with a more proven option like Packers running back Josh Jacobs, who faces a tough Tennessee Titans defense, or roll the dice on a lower-owned, high-upside option like Chiefs running back Carson Steele, who's expected to see his usage increase with Isiah Pacheco sidelined with a fractured fibula? Is a player like Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts, who finished with just three catches for 20 yards last week, safe to rely on in your Week 3 Fantasy football picks?

These are the types of questions Fantasy football 2024 owners will have to answer when evaluating the Week 3 Fantasy football rankings. Owners know a victory this early in the season could be the determining factor between their team making the playoffs or going home emptyhanded. Therefore, before you lock in your lineups, be sure to check out the Week 3 Fantasy football rankings from the proven computer model at SportsLine.

Top Week 3 Fantasy football QB rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top Week 3 Fantasy football QB picks:

1. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals: Burrow completed 23 of 36 passing attempts for 258 yards and two touchdowns while adding nine rushing yards on six attempts in Sunday's 26-25 loss to Kansas City. Burrow's stock is trending upward following a solid performance against Kansas City and he'll take on the Commanders on Monday, a defense that's giving up 27.5 points per game this season, the fourth-most in the league.

2. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: Through two games this season, Allen is completing 73.8% of his passes for 371 yards, three touchdowns and zero touchdowns. He's also added 11 carries for 41 yards and two rushing scores.  Allen and the Bills host the Jaguars on Monday night, a team that gave up 338 passing yards in their Week 1 loss against the Dolphins

3. Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals: Murray has been spectacular for Fantasy owners early this season. He's already racked up 428 passing yards and four touchdowns through his first two games. He's also averaging 11.6 yards as a rusher, finishing with more than 55 rushing yards in his first two contests. See more top QBs here.

Top Week 3 Fantasy football RB rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top Week 3 Fantasy football RB picks:

1. De'Von Achane, Miami Dolphins: Achane will likely see his usage increase this week with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa sidelined after suffering a concussion last week. Achane finished with 22 carries for 96 yards against the Bills while hauling in seven receptions for 69 yards and a score. He's finished with seven receptions in each of his first two games, providing sky-high value for Fantasy owners.

2. Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints: Kamara has been dominant for the Saints, who lead the NFL in scoring offense with 45.5 points per game. Kamara finished with 20 rushing attempts for 115 yards and three scores in New Orleans' lopsided victory over the Cowboys last week.

3. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: Barkley has been extremely effective for the Eagles thus far. In Monday's loss to the Falcons, Barkley rushed 22 times for 95 yards and caught four of five targets for 21 yards. He also finished with three touchdowns in Philadelphia's season opener and he's averaging 124.0 yards from scrimmage through two games with the Eagles. See more top RBs here.

Top Week 3 Fantasy football WR rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top Week 3 Fantasy football WR picks:

1. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: Lamb caught four of seven targets for 90 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 44-19 loss to the Saints. He hauled in a 65-yard TD in the second quarter against New Orleans and he remains Dak Prescott's top target heading into a Week 3 showdown with the Ravens.

2. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings: Through two games this season, Jefferson has piled up eight catches for 192 yards and two touchdowns on 13 targets. He was forced out of Minnesota's victory over San Francisco with a quadriceps injury, but he's trending in the right direction to be ready for Sunday's matchup against the Texans

3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: St. Brown was Detroit's offensive standout in Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers, securing 11 catches for 119 yards on 19 targets. This week, St. Brown and the Lions battle the Arizona Cardinals, a defense giving up 298.5 yards per game this season. See more top WRs here.

Top Week 3 Fantasy football TE rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top Week 3 Fantasy football TE picks:

1. Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals: McBride was effective in Arizona's lopsided win over the Rams in Week 2. McBride hauled in all six of his targets for 67 yards in Sunday's 41-10 win over Los Angeles. The 2022 second-round pick has quietly provided 11 receptions for 97 yards through two games in his first season as the No. 1 option at TE.

2. George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers: Kittle remains one of the most consistent tight ends in the league and he's coming off a strong showing against the Vikings, recording seven receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown. On Sunday, the 49ers take on the Los Angeles Rams, a defense that gave up 41 points last week to the Cardinals.

3. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: Kelce is off to a slow start for Fantasy owners. He has just 39 receiving yards on the season heading into Week 3 against the Falcons. However, Kelce remains Patrick Mahomes' most reliable target, and the veteran TE is expected to see his usage increase with Isiah Pacheco sidelined with a leg injury. See more top TEs here.
