  Coach Mike Macdonald said Monday that tests performed on Smith's right knee were positive, and the Seahawks hope to "see him practice throughout the week," Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. Smith took a low hit from a Packers defender in the middle of the third quarter of Sunday's loss and limped to the sideline and eventually the locker room. He returned to the bench not long after, but he didn't retake the field, yielding QB duties to Sam Howell for the remainder of the contest. It seems that Smith has dodged a bullet, but it remains to be seen if he'll be able to do enough to gain clearance for this coming Sunday's game against the Vikings.

Smith completed 15 of 19 pass attempts for 149 yards and an interception while adding five yards on one carry before exiting the game. Smith didn't return after suffering the injury in the third quarter, as Sam Howell played out the remainder of the game. Macdonald added that Smith's knee looks fine structurally, but the results of additional tests will determine whether Smith will need to miss additional time. Seattle's next game falls on Sunday in Week 16 against the Vikings.

  The Seahawks have won four games in a row, but Smith has been a mediocre Fantasy quarterback during that stretch, scoring 15.7 Fantasy points or less in each game. It will be hard to trust him in the Fantasy playoffs in Week 15 against Green Bay, and the Packers have allowed just three quarterbacks in their past nine games to score at least 20 Fantasy points. Smith is only worth starting in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues in Week 15.

  Smith completed 24 of 30 pass attempts for 233 yards and a touchdown while attempting one rush for no gain in Sunday's 30-18 victory over the Cardinals. Smith kept the chains moving against a division rival with efficient play from the pocket while going 7-for-15 on third-down attempts, helping his team hold onto sole possession of first place in the NFC West following the victory. The veteran signal-caller let Seattle's rushing attack do the heavy lifting against Arizona on the back of Zach Charbonnet's standout effort (22-134-2). Smith hasn't been asked to do much over the Seahawks' current win streak, but he could be in store for more work against a high-powered Packers offense next Sunday.
