• DeAndre Hopkins: In camp with Patriots as coach

  Hopkins is attending New England's training camp in a coaching capacity, Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel revealed Friday, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports. Hopkins said earlier in the offseason that his preference is to play another season in the NFL, but the 34-year-old wide receiver may be starting to look for post-career contingencies as well. He had just 22 catches for 330 yards and two touchdowns on 39 targets across 17 regular-season games with the Ravens in 2025. The Patriots' current WR corps features A.J. Brown, Romeo Doubs, Kayshon Boutte, Mack Hollins, Kyle Williams and DeMario Douglas.

  Hopkins recently told SiriusXM NFL Radio that he's interested in playing another season but isn't in any rush to sign with a team. Hopkins acknowledged that he's only a part-time player at this stage of his career, mentioning third downs and the red zone as areas where he can still contribute. He also said he doesn't especially care about playing in regular-season games and wants to help a contender make a playoff run. Hopkins turned 34 in June, after catching 22 passes for 330 yards and two TDs for the Ravens last season.

  Hopkins caught 22 of 39 targets for 330 yards and two touchdowns across 17 games in 2025. The veteran joined the Ravens on a one-year deal in the offseason and started the season strong. He caught touchdowns in each of his first two games and was remarkably efficient through the first six weeks of the season; Hopkins caught nine of 13 passes for 178 yards and two scores in that span. His best game the rest of the way was four catches for 41 yards. In fairness, it was a topsy-turvy year for the Ravens offense as it had to navigate a Lamar Jackson injury, but Hopkins still only managed to play 33 percent of the snaps. Hopkins, who turns 34 in June, will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

  Hopkins was held catchless on one target Saturday against the Packers. Baltimore had a run-heavy game plan Saturday with 53 rush attempts compared to just 20 passes. Hopkins' snap share dipped relative to recent weeks when he'd been playing roughly one-third of the snaps; he played just 25 percent of the snaps against the Packers. Hopkins hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 2 and has just one game with more than two receptions this season. Baltimore seems to have unlocked a new offensive philosophy that leans on Derrick Henry, so targets could be limited again in Week 18 whether it's Lamar Jackson (back) or Tyler Huntley under center.

  Hopkins recorded four receptions on five targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 28-24 loss to the Patriots. Hopkins has made a limited impact this season, though he emerged in the second half of Sunday's loss with Tyler Huntley under center. The duo connected on gains of nine, 16 and eight yards, resulting in Hopkins' highest yardage total since Week 5. Even if Huntley remains under center in Week 17 with Lamar Jackson nursing a back injury, Hopkins is likely to return to a minimal role in the Baltimore offense.
