• Lions' Kalif Raymond: Fails to garner target in win

  Raymond did not draw a target while turning one carry into 12 yards in Sunday's 26-20 overtime win over the Rams. Raymond operated as the Lions' No. 3 wide receiver Sunday, but he failed to make a major mark on the contest. His only offensive touch came in overtime when he opened Detroit's game-winning drive with a 12-yard run. Raymond also returned three punts for 18 total yards in the game. The 30-year-old is buried underneath the likes of Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, Sam LaPorta and Jahmyr Gibbs in the passing game, limiting his fantasy upside in the early going.

• Lions' Kalif Raymond: Looks set as No. 3 receiver

  Raymond appears to have solidified himself as the No. 3 wide receiver behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams, Colton Pouncy of The Athletic reports. Raymond is positioned to replace the departed Josh Reynolds as the No. 3 wide receiver, though given the importance of TE Sam LaPorta (hamstring) and RB Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring) in the passing game, that isn't a role that will necessarily translate to regular targets. Pouncy notes that Donovan Peoples-Jones and Daurice Fountain have also made some noise at training camp, but barring any additions to the wide receiver room, Raymond looks set to start in three-wide sets. He will have a chance to further entrench himself during Saturday's preseason game against the Chiefs.

  Raymond (knee) participated in the Lions' OTA session Wednesday. He missed the entirety of the Lions' playoff run last season after being injured in the regular-season finale, but Raymond looks to be back to full health well in advance of training camp. Raymond is currently penciled in as the Lions' third receiver behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams after Josh Reynolds left as a free agent and after Detroit didn't draft a single wideout last month. Raymond's primary competition will come from Donovan Peoples-Jones and 2023 seventh-round pick Antoine Green.

  Raymond (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the 49ers, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports. The 29-year-old wideout is now set to miss his third consecutive game after sustaining a knee injury during the Lions' Week 18 win over the Vikings. Donovan Peoples-Jones could be in for a larger role in Detroit's wide receiver corps without Raymond in the NFC Championship Game.

  Raymond (knee) didn't participate in Thursday's practice. Since sustaining a knee injury during the Lions' regular-season finale, Raymond has failed to appear in either of the team's first two playoff games. His chances to play in the NFC Championship Game seem slim after he began Detroit's week of practice with back-to-back DNPs, and he will almost certainly carry an injury designation into the weekend unless he's able to practice in full Friday.
