  • Bills' Joey Bosa: Won't play Sunday
    By RotoWire

Head coach Sean McDermott told reporters Friday that Bosa (hamstring) won't play in Sunday's matchup against the Bengals, Matt Parrino of The Syracuse Post-Standard reports. The 30-year-old sustained a hamstring injury in the Week 13 win over the Steelers and didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, so it's no surprise that he'll be held out Sunday. Bosa is an integral part of the Bills' pass rush, recording 26 total tackles, including 5.0 sacks, and five forced fumbles over 12 games this season. While he's out Week 14, Javon Solomon will likely start on Buffalo's defensive line.

  • Bosa won't practice Wednesday and is considered week-to-week with a hamstring injury, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports. The 30-year-old played a season-low 24 defensive snaps and likely sustained a hamstring injury in Buffalo's Week 13 win over the Steelers. Head coach Sean McDermott told reporters Wednesday that Bosa could be out anywhere from one to five weeks, but the team is hoping he returns sooner rather than later, per Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site. With Bosa likely sidelined for the Week 14 matchup against the Bills, A.J. Epenesa is expected to play a larger role on Buffalo's defensive line.

  • Bosa (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's contest against the Steelers. Bosa appears to have sustained a hamstring injury in the second half of the game, and his status for the rest of the night is now in question. Prior to his departure, the defensive end most notably secured a strip sack of Aaron Rodgers on the first play of the third quarter, a fumble which was returned for a touchdown by cornerback Christian Benford.

  • Bosa logged four solo tackles during Buffalo's loss to Miami on Sunday. Bosa had a solid outing in the loss, although he was unable to extend his sack streak to three games. Across his first nine outings this season, the 30-year-old has totaled 23 tackles (13 solo), including 4.0 sacks, and will look to continue producing in the Week 11 matchup versus Tampa Bay.

  • Bills' Joey Bosa: Dealing with calf issue
    By RotoWire

Coach Sean McDermott said Tuesday that Bosa will not participate in offseason workouts this spring due to a calf injury, Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News reports. McDermott said that Bosa "pulled a calf" and that he is expected to be ready for training camp in July, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN reports. The update could still be viewed as concerning for Buffalo, given Bosa has missed a combined 23 games over the past three seasons. Until he's ready for football activities again, his absence should open up more first-team reps for veteran A.J. Epenesa and rookie third-rounder Landon Jackson.
