  • Ravens coach Jesse Minter said Henry has "run every scheme throughout his career" but will still need to adjust to terminology changes under new offensive coordinator Declan Doyle, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Henry and other Ravens have expressed excitement about Doyle's scheme, with the 32-year-old running back telling reporters this offseason that "change can be good," and "everything is new, so we're all just trying to learn." Quarterback Lamar Jackson and wide receiver Zay Flowers made stronger comments during the offseason program, both praising Doyle for originality/creativity. The Ravens lost some key pieces of their running game this offseason, namely C Tyler Linderbaum and FB Patrick Ricard, but they also improved at the guard spots and still have a strong core of veteran standouts on both sides of the ball. Henry finished second in the league in rushing yards each of his first two seasons in Baltimore, and after a red-hot finish to the 2025 season, he's again going in the second round of most fantasy drafts.

  • Henry took 20 carries for 126 yards while failing to catch his only target in Sunday's 26-24 loss to the Steelers. Henry was held out of the end zone after scoring an eye-opening six touchdowns over his last two appearances, but he still managed to reach the century mark in rushing yards for the fourth week in a row. The 31-year-old continues to defy logic by maintaining an elite level of play in his 10th year in the league. King Henry amassed a 307-1,595-16 rushing line across 17 starts with Baltimore in 2025. While the Ravens' season ended in heartbreaking fashion Sunday, Henry remains under contract through 2027 and should continue leading the team's downhill rushing attack while producing elite fantasy numbers in standard formats next season.

  • Henry rushed the ball 36 times for 216 yards and four touchdowns in Saturday's 41-24 win over the Packers. The Ravens were likely to rely on their run game in the absence of Lamar Jackson (back), though his effectiveness combined with game script led to a particularly impressive showing. He set a new career high with 36 rushing attempts, and he also surpassed 200 rushing yards for the first time since Week 8 of the 2022 campaign, thanks to long rushes of 30 and 25 yards -- the latter of which went for a touchdown. Henry found the end zone three additional times, matching his career high of four touchdowns, with the previous performance coming in Week 14 of the 2018 season. His vintage showing kept the Ravens' playoff hopes alive and marked his fifth straight game with at least 100 yards from scrimmage.

  • Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Henry's absence during the final drive of Sunday's 28-24 loss to the Patriots was due to a planned "rotation," Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports. Henry had built steam by the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss, in which he logged 18 carries for 128 yards and two touchdowns while also losing one fumble. Nonetheless, it was Keaton Mitchell who started the entirety of Baltimore's final drive, within which he rushed twice for four yards. On the night, Mitchell had nine carries for 13 yards. Harbaugh's statement at least confirms that Henry didn't miss the final drive due to any sort of injury, but fantasy managers would certainly prefer Henry's utilization to have spanned the final stretches of a must-win contest in which he averaged 7.1 YPC. Harbaugh noted that in retrospect he "would rather have had [Henry] starting the [final] drive." The veteran RB will look to remain impactful as the Ravens fight to stick around in the AFC playoff picture on the road against Green Bay on Saturday.

  • Ravens' Derrick Henry: Two scores in loss
    By RotoWire

Henry rushed the ball 18 times for 128 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 28-24 loss to the Patriots. He also lost a fumble. Henry continued his momentum of strong performances, as he matched his season high of three rushes of at least 20 yards. His two touchdowns came from 21 and two yards away, marking his fourth multi-score effort of the campaign. The only shortcoming of Henry's performance came late in the first quarter when he lost a fumble, which ultimately led to a long touchdown drive for the Patriots. As has typically been the case in his career, Henry has imposed his will late in the season, as he now has over 90 rushing yards in three straight games.
