The Lions signed Flowers to the practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Flowers was unable to make the Bears' 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but the 2018 fifth-rounder will get another opportunity as a member of the Lions' practice squad. He could be elevated to the active roster for the Lions' Week 5 clash against the Bengals if either or both of Terrion Arnold (shoulder) and D.J. Reed (hamstring) is ruled out.

The Bears signed Flowers (shoulder) on Tuesday. Flowers will look to provide Chicago extra depth at corner back with Jaylon Johnson's (leg) status for the regular season currently up in the air. Flowers spent time with both the Colts and Jaguars last season, logging four tackles (three solo) across five games before suffering a shoulder injury in December that landed him on Indianapolis' practice-squad injured list.

The Jaguars signed Flowers off the practice squad to the active roster Thursday. Flowers' addition to the active roster bolsters the Jaguars' secondary after corner Tyson Campbell (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve. Flowers appeared in all 17 regular-season games for the Falcons in 2023, finishing with 15 tackles (six solo) and two passes defended.

Flowers (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's divisional-round matchup against the Bills, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports. As expected, Flowers, who was listed as doubtful, will miss the playoff matchup due to a lingering hamstring issue. He's played primarily on special teams since suffering the injury in Week 8, so his absence shouldn't have a major impact on Cincinnati's secondary. Expect the Bengals to deploy Eli Apple, Cam Taylor-Britt and Mike Hilton as their top cornerbacks against Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis and Isaiah McKenzie.

Flowers has been dealing with a hamstring injury for over two months, and it appears the issue will sideline him for Sunday's playoff game.
